Warner in ’08
Light posting today. But couldn’t resist commenting on news that our own VA Mark Warner is preparing for a run at President in 2008. Both the NYTimes and Washington Post did stories on this today, which is quite an MSM-lanche for a Governor who did nothing except raise taxes while the state ran a surplus.
Warner has the same achilles heel Edwards has, he can’t win his home state. Warner’s win in the Governor’s race 4 years ago was a fluke, since he had lost state wide races before and it was seen has his last chance. He just doesn’t look promising. I hope the dems select him as their candidate.
