Constitution Trumps FISA
For all those who fell asleep during US Government class (especially you intellectually superior liberals) the US Constitution takes precedent over any act of Congress. So, no matter what the FISA statute says, it cannot supercede the US Constitution and the powers granted the President in that document. Any legislation that attempts to challenge the Constitution becomes null and void, because the Constitution also lays out the process for modifying the document.
So please stop citing FISA as if it is the final say in the matter. It is not, and it makes you all look extremely uneducated. This is HS stuff folks.
Do you folks really want to call for the impeachment of Bush based on arguements that would not pass muster in HS Government???
