Rampant Fraud & Misinformation On Obama’s Job Creation
The AP is taking the Obama administration to task for all the fictional jobs they claim to have ‘created or saved’.
_ A company working with the Federal Communications Commission reported that stimulus money paid for 4,231 jobs, when about 1,000 were produced.
_ A Georgia community college reported creating 280 jobs with recovery money, but none was created from stimulus spending.
_ A Florida child care center said its stimulus money saved 129 jobs but used the money on raises for existing employees.
…
Here are some of the findings:
_ Colorado-based Teletech Government Solutions on a $28.3 million contract with the Federal Communications Commission for creation of a call center, reported creating 4,231 jobs, although 3,000 of those workers were paid for five weeks or less.
…
_ The Toledo, Ohio-based Koring Group received two FCC contracts, again for call centers. It reported hiring 26 people for each contract, or a total of 52 jobs, but cited the same workers for both contracts. The jobs only lasted about two months.
…
_ Officials at East Central Technical College in Douglas, Ga., said they now know they shouldn’t have claimed 280 stimulus jobs linked to more than $200,000 to buy trucks and trailers for commercial driving instruction, and a modular classroom and bathroom for a health education program.
“It was an error on someone’s part,” said Mike Light, spokesman for the Technical College System of Georgia. The 280 were not jobs, but the number of students who would benefit, he said.
How many people are shocked that their hard earned income may have been squandered on bathroom for a Georgia College? That is something the damn college should be covering – not me.
AP is not the only one calling the propagandist on the carpet for all these mythical positive results from the failed liberal idea of stimulating new jobs through sluggish and wasteful federal spending of our tax dollars. This article at Bloomberg pulls no punches:
“Most analysts predict that the fiscal stimulus will have its greatest impact on growth in the second and third quarters of 2009,†Romer said. “By mid-2010, fiscal stimulus will likely be contributing little to growth.â€
In other words, the best the failed stimulus could produce is now behind us. This country is in deep pain due to those incompetent liberals running DC right now.
How long will it talk voters to respond to being had? This administration is bragging about 30,000 jobs it created in 9 months, and even that number is bogus. One trillion dollars for what, and today they want us to clap about another trillion dollar program to nationalize Health Care. America, get rid of these people!
Kathie: America, get rid of these people! I second that!
But will their replacements be much different? That is the question to ponder.

The Beat Goes On..
This will never get past the MSM filter. Most will go on believing that all the jobs the administration says were created, were actually created.
Alert1201 is correct!
I really want to go backwards for a moment. I think either party is problematic. Under Bush, we had a first term stimulus, I got a check. In the second term, I got another stimulus check. Neither worked.
We got TARP, and a suspension of capitalism, to save capitalism, so we were told. And the reason for TARP, why to buy up toxic assets. But upon it’s passing congress, the plan changed…
I’m Shocked, aren’t you?
And of course Bush wanted an ownership society. You see, it wasn’t fair that some had to rent, while others could buy. So, he went to HUD in 2002, and made a speech, and instructed HUD to work with Fannie and Freddie to make 0% interest loans to minorities.
And they complied. Not just minorities, but also Bush’s favorite minorities: Illegal Aliens. Yes, no money down, and no proof of citizenship required, how awesome is that! Yes, a bank statement or utility bill would do. No need for that pesky stuf you and I have to produce.
As Steve Sailor has pointed out in many articles, this was for the most part, a Minority Mortgage Meltdown. And only 4 states comprised over 50% of the foreclosures: California, Nevada, Arizona, and Florida. Gee, any guess as to what those states are over run with?
So, yes, get these people out of office. But be careful what you wish for, and more importantly, who you vote for….
Sometime the cure is almost as bad as the disease.
You have to wonder, why is it Rush never mentions these facts? I’d say, because he props up the “R” Jersey, at the expense of the truth. Go ahead, google all this…
My Dad just sent this in an email:
It has been said that the major changes in health care won’t take effect for three years and that for the first three years we will be paying for it partially through taxes.I’ve heard NO ONE ask where that tax money will be put for “safe keeping” for those three years!
Are we supposed to believe that the Dems won’t spend it on something else? What fools those who voted for them are.
He too, has the capacity to think.
stevevvs,
I’ve been listening to Rush everyday for around 15 years now and I do remember him criticizing Bush for his phony stimulus and his immigration policies.
Regarding the HUD event – he did not comment on Bush’s speech when he made it, but he clearly placed part of the blame on Bush for continuing Carter and Clinton’s housing policies.
He was also a big critic of illegals getting home loans as well as medical care and has linked the major part of the problem with the housing on minorities and illegals getting loans they could not pay back.
I do agree that both parties are accomplices in the housing problems.
