Oh Pullease!
Democrats cry foul – it is a GOP Dirty Trick which makes the Dems incompetent buffoons!
A spokesman for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is describing the video above, which shows a Weekly Standard reporter getting pushed around by a DSCC consultant, Michael Meehan, as a “dirty trick” by “Washington Republicans.”
Watch the video and let that stupid comment simmer for a while, realizing these idiots are trying to run the country, take over your medical decisions and defend us from terrorists!
For heaven’s sake Democrats, man up (with a few brain cells turned on please). And to man up is not the same as to be a dumb thug – clear?
This incident must be killing the Dems. I would suspect this sends the good people of Massachusetts over the edge into the voting booth with one clear message in mind “Not in our name!”
AJ,
It isn’t a matter of manning up, it is a matter of distraction.
Anything that keeps Massachusetts voters from hearing Brown talk about how many jobs Democratic health care reform will cost Mass voters helps the Democrats.
It’s the jobs, stupid!
Any bandwidth you waste on this subject helps Democrats destroy jobs with their socialized medicine policies.
AJ,
This is “plan b” by the Democratic Sec. of State in Massachusetts:

The Democrats will play games with absentee ballots to steal the election.
Hannity is reporting that Browns internal pols have him pulling ahead. He is also going to have the reporter on in a few minutes.
Alert,
If it were not for my 2006 and 2008 prognosticator scars I would call this for Brown now (and may tomorrow).
I read at Campaign Spot how the polls using normal MA percentages for parties have Brown tied – meaning if there is a tilt in turnout against Coakley she is burnt, crumbly toast.
Gosh, if it was just a dirty Republican trick, why did Meehan just apologize to John McCormack? Why did Meehan answer “No” when McCormack then went on to ask him if he disputed anything that McCormack had written about the incident…

It seems the height of an unfolding human catastrophe is an optimum time for such an admission.
Is this another “dirty trick” ?
iPhone Photo of “cocaine lines” posted online has embedded GPS coordinates of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, D.C.

“If it were not for my 2006 and 2008 prognosticator scars I would call this for Brown now (and may tomorrow).”
Yea, a good part of my post election depression in 2008 was due to my believing your predictions about McCain winning the angry Dems “you did not nominate Hillary” vote. You really got my hopes up which only made the crash even harder :).
But how can I complain when I took the safe option and did not make any predictions.
Even if Brown does not win a good part of the damage is done just by him getting this close.
neo, I think the cocaine line pic came from 4chan.
There are a whole lot of clever people who post stuff on 4chan and it can be a lot of fun to look through (get your minds out of the gutter! I didn’t mean that!) But don’t ever put much faith in the veracity of anything coming from there.
Alert,
Both years I really underestimated the depth and breadth of conservative rejection in the centrists. Sadly, it will be a while before I buy any rosy scenarios for the right.
But this could be a rare exception!
Re: Dirty trick – Meehan has already apologized…
“In a written statement, Meehan said he apologized to Weekly Standard reporter John McCormack for the incident.”
Re: Brown’s chances – it’s going to depend on how his momentum carries through the weekend. If Coakley continues to screw up like this, she may be toast by Monday – we’ll see. Meanwhile, there are half a million bucks worth of DNCC / SEIU-funded attack adds for the Coakley campaign to excrete between now and then…
