Rabid Rangel
I saw this story on Yahoo and just had to repeat a comment I posted on my favorite political forum today. Here is Rangel:
“Quite frankly, evidence that appears to be building up points to whether or not the president has deliberately misled Congress to make the most important decision a president has to make, going to war,” said Rangel, senior Democrat on the House Ways and Means Committee.
This reminded me of this post to me while discussing those who want to run from Iraq before the job is completed:
but the rest of us who are beginning to feel like we’ve been had want the truth about the motivations that led us into this Iraq mess. It is always our duty to question our leadership.
To which I responded, and now add Rabid Rangel to this comment:
If you have not figured out why we went into Iraq, to take out a murderous madman we believed had WMDs, who did have WMD technology, who did have ties to terrorists and AQ, to replace him with a democratic government to be an example for others in the region, and to change the world view of the Arab muslims so they could begin progressing their societies and stop blaming the west for the atrophied conditions….
Well, who cares why you question our leaders? If you are that uninformed after all this time you are basically irrelevant to serious debates.
Rangel, you have become irrelevant.
