Obama Is Afraid To Face Mess He Created
Want to know why President Obama will not go to the US border and see the humanitarian crisis he committed?
He’s afraid.
He is definitely fed up with being President. He sees his legacy in the tank already. Outside being the first African American President, his record will be one of a string of epic failures. The classic example if an Elitist Theoretician with no real world experience hitting the walls of reality.
Obamacare is a disaster. A marginally few more people are now covered, but everyone else who HAD insurance is paying a huge cost in premiums, co-pays, lack of access and lower quality service. Guess which number is bigger – those “newly insured” or those “newly screwed” by Obamacare?
The “screwed” outnumber the “newly insured” by orders of magnitude. And they vote.
Same for the economy as deficits rise, shovel ready jobs never appeared and Obamacare forces everyone into part time work and out of career jobs.
World Peace? A shambles. The man who won the Nobel Prize of Peace has overseen more violence and unrest than any other modern President.
And we could go on and on with the IRS, Veterans Administration, Benghazi….
The man is consistently pathetic on execution. When you compare his rhetoric to reality it is tragic (no photo ops on the border, only in pool halls, restaurants, golf courses, etc) .
But it is more than running away from the stifling cage of the White House, where he has lost his ability to lead. On the border Obama would have to come face to face with the actual human carnage he is allowing to simmer so he can play political games. His focus is on politics.
He cannot afford to face this:
A reporter touring a detainment center in Texas noted a blank, lost look among some of the younger children. Every mother knows what that suggests. Children who cry and wail anticipate comfort: That’s why they’re crying, to alert those who care for them that something is wrong. But little children who are blank, withdrawn, who don’t show or at some point know what they’re feeling—those children are in trouble.
President Obama is afraid to face this:
Obama’s two-year ‘amnesty’ for illegal immigrant minors sparks TWELVE-FOLD spike in numbers pouring across border
Clearly if Obama had to see this for himself it might cause him to put humanity over politics. Or maybe not. The guy may have gone all cold inside now that he decided he is not going to be President (defending the Constitution) and instead has turned some kind of rabid bear on the rampage.
Obama’s trip to Colorado and Texas this week took place against the backdrop of a burgeoning crisis on the Mexican border, where tens of thousands of children have been apprehended seeking entry into the United States. In Dallas, Obama dismissed the idea of heading farther south for a border visit as a “photo op” — not long after those photo ops showing him shooting pool and sipping beer in Denver.
Awaiting the soon to come Obama-strich cartoon:
As with all his liberal half-baked ideas, the real-world in implications of his open borders madness was completely missed. And so President Obama – the first African American President – is the Democrat who is throwing African Americans under the bus:
The black unemployment rate is almost 11 percent, far higher than that of any other group profiled by labor statistics. African Americans are disproportionately employed in lower-skilled jobs – the very same jobs immigrants take. As Steven Camarota asked in a recent column, why double immigration when so many people already aren’t working?
…
Black attorney and member of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights Peter Kirsanow, serves as one of the lone voices of reason, repeatedly outlining the harm amnesty will cause black Americans. In a 2013 letter to the Congressional Black Caucus, he wrote: “The obvious question is whether there are sufficient jobs in the low-skilled labor market for both African-Americans and illegal immigrants. The answer is no.” Kirsanow’s statistics demonstrate the way in which immigration impacts the wages and employment opportunities of black males and hurts the black community.
Which is why we will see more and more of this:
The fact is, to help our economy and bring back high paying jobs the United States needs to LOWER the immigration numbers – as it did a century ago:
By stressing the opposite option — reductions in legal immigration — during his campaign against Cantor, victorious economics professor Dave Brat has suddenly given hope to the many members of Congress whose immigration policy vision for wage-earning Americans has been blocked by their parties’ leaders. Echoing themes articulated tirelessly by Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., Brat argues for dramatic cuts in future visas for immigrant and other foreign labor, The purpose is to allow the labor supply to tighten, raise wages and make it more likely that employers will recruit from the neglected American populations in today’s economy.
This is a prescription that has worked well in the past. Perhaps the most stunning example was 100 years ago, when the outbreak of World War I abruptly stopped a three-decades-old massive importation of immigrant labor into the United States.
Northern manufacturers responded by aggressively recruiting, training and employing the still-living freed slaves and their descendants. Since the 1880s, manufacturers had virtually ignored this source of workers, preferring to send ships to Europe to bring in immigrants to expand their factories. But 1914 began a domestic people movement from plantations to cities that has been celebrated in literature and art as “The Great Migration.” It was the start of a decades-long mass movement of black Americans into the non-agrarian economy of the nation and the building of a large black middle class. But it happened only after easy access to foreign labor was removed.
Supply and Demand 101. Easy access to foreign labor who are willing to work for much less does NOT increase wages.
It is clear President Obama is frustrated. But his frustration is really due to his world view being too simplistic, too rotten with flawed assumptions and too filled by half-baked concepts. His intellect has always been in over simplifying complex issues so he could pretend to solve them with easy solutions. His opponents are not the only straw men, but his ideas for combating these straw men are also built of straw.
If President Obama had to ever face reality instead of his straw-built liberal fantasies he might not emotionally survive the ordeal. That is why he is being so “stubborn” about being forced to go to see what he has wrought.
He could fix this now. He has turned over so many laws unilaterally he could rescind DACA and send the National Guard to the border. He could use FEMA to fund transportation back home for all these people. He could do a lot – now. He created this Katrina, now he must fix it.
Update: The insanity continues as those using the lost children of Central America has political props decide to veto the wishes of said children:
… can’t we deport them with their cooperation? No way, say amnesty fans. You can’t get legal consent from a minor for something like that; they’re bound to feel coerced and “volunteer” for removal even if they don’t want to go. A hearing is the only way. And if most of them, after being released, decide to vanish into the United States and never show up for that hearing, hey. Just another example of “due process” being used to subvert the legal process entirely.
Face it, the left could care less what happens to these kids. They are just pawns on a chess board. Too bad the left only knows checkers. Recall, unaccompanied minors for Mexico and Canada get deported ASAP. That IS the law,
All it takes is one little letter to the Secretary of State, and he’s free of all the annoying responsibilities of the Oval Office.
