Saddam Is A Murderous Madman
Whodathunkit. What impact will this have on the election? Not sure. But it is clear most sane people (and that is just about everyone outside liberal circles) sees the end of Saddam’s reign as a good thing for the human beings who live in Iraq and its neighboring countries.
Saddam’s last line on this video was telling:
Re above:
That may have been the trial judge who said that. You’ll have to watch the video yourself. You see, I was reading Saddam’s mind.
Strata
“just about everyone outside liberal circles sees the end of Saddam’s reign as a good thing…for Iraqis and neighboring countries.”
Correction: Most of the Sunni Iraqis, who are not insane, do not see it as a good thing. Most of the neighboring Sunni countries do not see it as a good thing and this includes even Kuwait, his erstwhile victim,
Saudi Arabia and Jordan, who sided with him in the first phase of the “mother of all battles” (the second currently stalemated.)
All these begged Bush not to invade and cause the predictable anarchy, a condition to which Strata is oblivious, being the
not atypical American as viewed by Middle Easterners.
Iran most definitely sees it as a good thing, but it would exasperate
me if I seriously tried to understand why Strata would consider THAT a positive….

And the reaction in the Moslem world bears out my comments
above.
