No Evidence Of Litvinenko Smuggling
The Independent reported falsely (as I now know from our treasured reader Clarice Feldman is not uncommon) that Scaramella claimed Litvinenko was involved in nuclear smuggling, which later Scaramella denied happened.
But Scaramella told the AP that he had been misquoted by the newspaper.
“He (Litvinenko) wanted to see me because he knew about smuggling of nuclear material, but as far as I know he was never involved in nuclear smuggling,” he said.
This is supported by Russia itself which says they have no knowledge of smuggling nuclear material by Litvinenko. One would think that if this was a Russian assassination plot they would have, at a minimum, concocted evidence of suspected smuggling to establish an alibi. But here is Russia clearing Litvinenko of any links to smuggling (that they are aware of).
Smooches back, AJ.
here’s more on the Chechan:
Nima Toserkani, 17, said: “He was cheerful, happy, lively. He minded his own business. He would play with the kids round there. He would always get driven round by a guy with a Mercedes who lives over there.”

below I said Boris drove him to the airport – I meant hospital
Sources revealed last night that renegade Russian billionaire Boris Berezovsky had also been checked for radiation. His car, in which he ferried the stricken Litvinenko to hospital, was also tested. It was further disclosed that the tycoon has been interviewed twice by police investigating Litvinenko’s death, but not as a suspect
