You can always tell something about a group of people based on the people they align themselves with. For example, The KKK, Skin Heads and Nazis always seem to be after similar objectives. They may not coordinate – but the do end up on the same side of issues. So to now with the Liberal Democrat leaders in Congress and the Islamo Fascist fanatics who kill anyone and everyone in their way. Muqtada Sadr, the Iranian backed Shiia ‘Cleric’ who is responsible for death squads and bombings and proabably more Iraqi deaths than America has come out with an ultimatum that is conspicuously timed with the return of Congress and the issue of war funding:

Political followers of Moktada al-Sadr, the Shiite cleric, said today that their six cabinet ministers would quit their posts in government in protest at the refusal of Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki to set a timetable for American troops to withdraw from Iraq.

At a press conference, legislators loyal to Mr. Sadr read from a statement that they said they had received from Mr. Sadr ordering the withdrawal from the cabinet.

I smell a coordinate PR effort here between Liberals and Islamo Fascists. I am sure we are going to see a supporting press conference from Mullah Pelosi here soon on the same subject. But even if not deliberately coordinated, any US leader finding themselves aligned in common cause with the likes of Sadr needs to have their head examined. The man kills is own people for power.

What this tells me (as opposed to how the whimpering, weak-kneed NY Times spun it) is Sadr is in deep trouble and is putting everything on the line with this ultimatum. He is still hold out in Iran and his forces are being decimated or neutered. His power base is about gone and when US relief starts flooding Sadr City in Baghdad with improvements and investments Sadr will lose his hold on any popular support he may have left. If the option is US largesse versus Sadr’s death squads and squalor it is clear which way the Iraqi people will turn.

And if the liberal Democrats keep finding themselves aligned with Islamo Fascists against our President and our military, they too will see a shift of support in America as well. And it will not be to those friendly to al Qaeda’s best buddies in the world right now.
