Bomb Mastermind Arrested
Drudge had an alert notice on his site, but the British papers are just now getting this out, but it appears the mastermind behind the 7/7 bombings in London was arrested in Pakistan and has ties to Bin Laden:
A Briton said to have been held in Pakistan over the London terror attacks had telephone links with two of the suicide bombers.
Haroon Rashid Aswat is thought to have been brought up in Dewsbury, the same area of West Yorkshire as Mohammad Sidique Khan.
Reports on Wednesday quoted intelligence sources as saying that Aswat had been arrested in Pakistan, but this was denied by Pakistani officials.
Security sources told newspapers the alleged al Qaida planner had up to 20 conversations with Khan and another of the bombers, Shehzad Tanweer, one just hours before the blasts.
The Daily Mail said he entered the UK through Felixstowe, Suffolk, two weeks before the attacks, and left on a flight from Heathrow hours before the carnage.
Newspapers said he was arrested in a raid at a religious school, or madrassa, in Sargodha, wearing an explosive belt and carrying thousands of pounds in cash.
…
The Times said Aswat was believed to have had a 10-year association with militant groups, and met Osama bin Laden at an al Qaida training camp in Afghanistan. The newspaper said it had obtained FBI documents indicating he was sent to America in 1999 where he had firearms and poison training.
First off, I am impressed with the speed and accuracy of this man hunt, if this does turn out to be the man. I also hope the press will lay off too many details on how he was tracked down so as to not allow future terrorist planners to adjust their tactics.
The phone conversations are a good indicator they have the right person. What is disturbing, again, is the free reign of these people to train in the West. The training this person had in the US was pre 9-11, but shouldn’t we be connecting all foreign visitors who trained in the US (and Europe) for things like this to a watch list?
And sadly, it was another Briton whose outlook on life had been poisoned by the hate mongers the UK has tolerated too long. You cannot allow people to stay in your country preaching your destruction and expect nothing to happen. Check out this great post at Gates of Vienna on the depth of the problem in the UK. And how some of these malcontents are living off the very state they hate.
There are reasonable limits to tolerance and we need to define them so that the poisoners of minds are not able to spiritually abduct our children, loved ones, friends or neighbors for their sick purposes.

What are the British going to do?
They can’t decide whether to allow Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who holds a mutiple entry visa, to enter the country. He has been banned from the U. S. since 1999. This is the guy who said,
