Democrats vs. Our Troops

Published by at 7:00 pm under All General Discussions,Iraq

The Democrats miscalculated this Iraq funding vote on so many levels it is amazing. They wanted controversy and media time, but now they are probably regretting the idea completely. The debate was supposed to be Dems vs Bush. But it has turned into Dems with al Qaeda and Dems vs our Our Troops. Now the modern war fighters are taking advantage of the internet and balanced (yes Fox) news sources who are unafraid to expose all sides of this important debte:

Another, a National Guardsman, recently returned from Mesopotamia with a Purple Heart, noted that the Senate Majority Leader has become “Al Qaeda’s most powerful ally.”

At Mississippi State University, a Marine corporal I last saw along the banks of the Tigris River — now a college student — asked me, “Do those people who think we’ve lost this war have any idea what things will be like if we really do lose?”

I hereby offer anybody who is serving or has served in Iraq this forum to express your views on why Senator Surrender is wrong, dangerously wrong. Email me at AJstrata@strata-sphere.com and I will post your comments for everyone to read. Sorry, you folks supporting Reid will need to go to the liberal sites to express get your views posted.

When we show this is not action against Bush but our troops, the troops will get their funding and the Dems will stop surrendering for us.

I think the Democrats thought they were responding to the pubic’s frustratiion iwth the war and instead they became pawns for the enemy. AlQaida will not miss the oppurtunity to use this for propaganda, just like they use huge explosions for propaganda.

The Democrats thought people like the idea of timelines because then they see a light at the end of the tunnel, however, if you give those timelines specific dates and make it plain you will not listen to commanders in the field…they cease to be a light at the end of a tunnel and just become something else to fight about. In other words, sometimes governing by polls is easier said than done.
