GOP Meltdown
I was not going to do this again, go into the fevered swamps of the Amnesty Hypochondriacs and expose some of the anger that is destroying the GOP. But of course it is necessary to expose what too many who oppose the immigration bill believe about America and Americans on this subject:
Post the list of traitors.
We’ll pull together the list of their corporate sponsors (because I can’t think of who else pushed them to vote for it) and start a boycott.
…
get the roll call.
Let’s crack some heads.
…
And with that, I leave the GOP.
Goodbye, guys.…
This Is Fargin’ War!
…
Can you say United States of Mexico! Courtesy of our RINOS and RATS! I saw the soccer game between the USA and Mexico from Chicago and the stadium was filled with folk loyal to the RED, WHITE and GREEN…chants for Mexico drowned the USA chants…imagine that in our own land….USM!
…
Treason.
…
Prez. Bush needs horse-whipping.
It goes on for pages and pages. The Amnesty Hypochondriacs failed to convince enough people that their scary fantasies were legitimate. Only 24 out of 49 GOP voted to kill the bill. As I have been saying, the GOP is split on this issue. But the far right is clearly unhinged and more than willing to attack anyone and everyone who disagrees with them. They are a 25% minority who like to pretend the are 75%. Clearly they are not. Or else the vote (and the polls) would show the opposite of what they did.
Clear Channel country club Republican radio war liar
and proponents of cheap labor Mike McConnell nevertheless
said Pat Buchanan sounded far too mild for him on the immigration
“Meet the Press” debate Sunday.
Does anyone here agree that Buchanan seemed uncharacteristically
moderate in his debate with the Hispanic congressman from
Illinois?
..go into the fevered swamps of the Amnesty Hypochondriacs and expose some of the anger that is destroying the GOP…
Hmmm…so if only Amnesty Hypochondriacs would accept the position of the Amnesty Pimps, then everything would be fine in the GOP? Why not the other way around? I personally feel that if the GOP backs this bill, then I don’t want to be a part of the GOP and I don’t want them to win any more elections. They’re not a whit better than the Democrats.
Answer to the question of who is going to do all these jobs if the illegals are deported? Haven’t any of you seen the latest statistics out of the state of Georgia? The number of unemployed new GA high school graduates is waaaay up. Seems all the starting level jobs are being filled by Immigrants, both legal and illegal. If it’s hapening in GA, it’s happening all over the country. Every state is inundated with these immigrants. Get real guys. This invasion of the job snatchers is hurting our most vulnerable. Not all our citizens are college material.
Look for the number of “disabled” Americans on SS to climb in direct proportion to the number of workers replaced by these “lovable” “needed” and “valuable” aliens. When people can’t get jobs they turn to whatever means are available to suport themselves and their families. Professionals in Appalachia say that at least one in 4 is already on SS disability because there are no jobs avalable. Maybe someone should check this out in other areas. .
Riehl is not happy with the Republicans either.
But then he wasn’t happy with the Democrats and Bloomberg either.
“The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that just 22% of American voters currently favor the legislation. That’s down a point from 23% a couple of weeks ago and down from 26% when the debate in the Senate began. Fifty percent (50%) oppose the Senate bill while 28% are not sure.”
A.J., you said:
What are you talking about?
Actually, can you just read the above, admit that you are diametrically wrong, and publish a retraction?
I challenge you — your integrity and reputation is at stake.
This should give people pause”. The Democrats are making headway in rural America, the heart of the GOP. If current trends continue, the Democrats could end up with a supermajority in the house in 08 and in the Senate by 2010.
People are not leaving the GOP due to the immigration bill. If that were the case, they would not be running to the Democrats, they would be going neutral. They aren’t. People are fleeing the Republican party.
The hard right needs to consider what they are doing to the Republican Party. They could be destroying it by being inflexible. Most reasonable people are open to compromise and don’t much care for “my way or the hiway” politics.
Don’t you worry…people in “rural america” know bad pork when they smell it. And they don’t take too kindly to someone trying to ram it down their throats either.
NEVER underestimate the politically destructive and divisive nature of NE educated, arrogant as hell liberals.
