Obama Exposes Liberal “Dislike” For People Of Religion
Occasionally Rush Limbaugh hits one out of the park, and yesterday was one of those days. It really wasn’t Rush who made the news, it was Barak Obama. Rush just happened to capture the audio of Obama exposing the true feelings Democrats and Liberals have for people of faith in America. Here is the transcript of Obama’s appearance on Meet The Press which Rush made available on his website:
OBAMA: I do not believe being gay or lesbian is a choice, and so I disagree with Reverend McClurkin, but understand, Tim, part of what I hope to offer as president is the ability to reach to people that I don’t agree with, and the evangelical community is one where the Democratic Party, I think, we have generally seen as hostile, we haven’t been reaching out to them, and I think that if we’re going to make significant progress on critical issues that we face, whether it’s education, or health care, or energy, or our foreign policy in this country, we’ve got to be able to get beyond our comfort zones and just talk to people we don’t like (pause) or just talk to people we like, or people that we agree with on every single issue.
So Freudian! I am sure Obama just let slip what all the liberals say in private (and trust me, they say it very openly in private when TV cameras and other recording devices are not around). There is a hate for people of religion by the people on the far left. It is unmistakable and it is ridiculous. Many on the left had to free themselves of conservative families and environments and they hold a personal grudge over it all. I can understand that to some degree. But that is a choice ‘progressives’ make when they defy traditions. Sadly, too many feel the need to trash traditions and those who still follow them in order to gain enough self confidence to go their own way.
Obama could be another classic example. It is obvious Christian doctrine is less rigid than Muslim doctrine which his father followed. Does he dislike religious doctrine because he spent his formative years fighting it in heated and angry conflicts with his father? Who knows. But he did expose the true image religion has on the left – and it is very much a dislike.
It is a dislike for tradition that tells you how to act, religion that tells you how to live your life, the military that tells you what to do. I think that at the heart of the Dems is that they know what is best and will not be told otherwise.
