Bhutto’s Widower Claims al-Qaeda Not Their Enemy, Is He Bin Laden’s Ally?
Benazir Bhutto’s husband is rapidly pulling the veil from the true face of the anti-Musharraf forces in Pakistan in his wild claims regarding Bhutto’s assassination. Today he claims it is impossible for al-Qaeda to be the culprit – but his reasoning for this claim is the real shocker:
The husband of slain Pakistani leader Benazir Bhutto, Asif Ali Zardari, has rejected the government claims that Al Qaeda terrorists killed her.
“Al Qaeda has nothing to fear; why would they fear us? Are they our political opponents?” he said in an interview with The Guardian newspaper published Tuesday.
Apparently the answer is “no”, they are not your opponents. This is a very disturbing turn of events. What Zardari is implying is al-Qaeda is the opposite of their enemy, which makes them an ally. Clearly Zardari, acting as puppet master for his son, is not opposing al-Qaeda. He is opposing Musharraf and his alliance with America, which makes him a huge benefit to Bin Laden and his thugs. There is a good reason why many folks did not have faith in Bhutto and the PPP to be strong on terror, and now we have clear evidence of those concerns.
He also refused to release her body for autopsy after the attack. I do not know if that has changed since then.
She was in power when the Teliban came into being in Pakistan. I heard her husband is a bit of a crook.

We forget that her father was hanged and two of her brothers were shot. That family could make the Kennedys look lucky.
Hindustan Times is saying the government is backing down from their death from her hitting her head story. Other stories are saying she was to meet with Spector and Kennedy with proof of corruption in the elections coming up.
Sounds interesting but so have other things coming out of that area both before and after her death.
So I am still in the consider what has been said and see how it fits but hoping for more substantial proof of just what the heck is going on.
Bhutto made deals with extremist when she was in power. Particularly the Taliban. She was also very corrupt and the mother of their nuclear weapons which raised tensions to crisis level with India over Kashmir. She supported extremists attacks there. She denied their nuclear program had anything to do with weapons until they tested one. She was a snake in the grass then. Had she changed??
It’s hard to know really what’s going on there behind the scenes. Bhuttos “return” was obviously politically timed to setup and deal damage to and discredit Musharaff’s re-election by parlament. It was also timed with the judiciary revolt that tried to declare Musharaffs re-election void (because he was technically not eligible because of his military position).
Then, there was the previous atttempt on Bhutto’s life recently that failed. We didn’t and don’t hear much about that either.
There’s a lot here that hasn’t been covered in any depth to really know what’s going on. Musharaff carries the votes of parlament…elected reps of all the various districts of pakistan. Having failed to assassinate him, they try to vote him out. Having failed to vote him out, they try to coup him out by having the judiciary revolt and declare a national election void. Having failed to coup him out…they bring back Bhutto…and others…to politically challenge him, undermind his gov and cause unrest and convince people to vote for his adversaries for parlament (I guess so maybe “next” election they can vote against him?).
Something doesn’t add up. And if you ask me….the stuff that doesn’t add up has more to do wtih Bhutto and her well oiled, funded and timed “return”…than it does with Musharaff ..who appears to be a man under seige from all sides….and who happens to be “our” ally.
