Iraq’s Tet Offensive Was In 2004?
It seems the SurrenderMedia are partially responsible for the extending the bloodshed in Iraq by misusing information out of Iraq (anyone surprised?) to turn the political forces that were against al-Qaeda terrorists and to turn them against American efforts to stop the bloodshed:
A secret intelligence assessment of the first battle of Fallujah shows that the U.S. military thinks that it lost control over information about what was happening in the town, leading to “political pressure” that ended its April 2004 offensive with control being handed to Sunni insurgents.
“The outcome of a purely military contest in Fallujah was always a foregone conclusion — coalition victory,” read the assessment, prepared by analysts at the U.S. Army’s National Ground Intelligence Center, or NGIC.
“But Fallujah was not simply a military action, it was a political and informational battle. … The effects of media coverage, enemy information operations and the fragility of the political environment conspired to force a halt to U.S. military operations,” concluded the assessment.
By forcing a halt in US operations in 2004, that signalled al-Qaeda and the Sunnis there was a chance they could turn the SurrenderMedia against America if they simply killed and carved enough people to feed the news headlines and top stories. Which they of course did for the next 2 years. So it wasn’t a lack of Surge troops, it was more not nipping the insurgency in the bud when it began that led to emergence of al-Qaeda and its killing spree.
I doubt the SurrenderMedia can face up to their role in all this – they have yet to face up to their mistaken assumptions about who will win in Iraq. And I doubt John Edwards will ever understand that his lame call to pull our troops warms Bin Laden’s hearts and unleashes another round of bombs and death in hope America will buckle right next to good ol’ Johnny.
The SurrenderMedia and Surrendercrats have provided al-Qaeda thugs the only hope they have of turning things around in Iraq, in creating a surge of panic and fear in America and making us run. Run into a future where the terrorist send wave after wave of suicide martyrs our way as they laugh at are in ability to defend ourselves and see the conflict through to victory. I fear too many Iowans have lost focus on what is still out there. They are concerned too concerned about party purity to unite and beat al-Qaeda. If this continues this country is in for a very rough future against an emboldened fascist and suicidal enemy.
This really sickens me. The talk of our media being traitorous may be a joke to some but their bias and lies have real life consequences as demonstrated here.
