The Council Has Spoken!
And what do you know – I got my first first place! The winner in the Council Category was Wilson-CIA Cover Up? by me of course, with second going to Command Hallucinations by Dr. Sanity and Egypt and the Copts: “Kith and Kin” by Gates of Vienna .

In the non Council Category the winner was And Another Thing by Cathy’s World (a must read) and second place went to The Cicero Articles by Winds of Change.NET.

It was a great piece of work on your part. Since we’re on the topic of Joe and Valerie, please explain to me your take why a Senate or House committee doesn’t start conducting hearings and call these people in to testify about their action. The Republicans control both branches and yet they seem to be paralyzed or afraid to take the offense. Is it because Patrick hasn’t officially closed shop yet? This question has really been bothering me, especially with Joe going around to all the talk shows like a hero.

Thanks. I think you nailed the answer to your own question. Congressional hearings can be messy. And for every Wilson called to testify so would a Libby. Also, if you recall Iran Contra, testimony in Congress can sometimes wreck a trial. Ollie North’s criminal charges were thrown out on some ruling that they could not use his testimony against him – or something like that.
Joe Wilson has made plenty of enemies – he will need to be very careful and hope none of our speculation is even close to true.
