Promises, Promises …

Published by at 11:35 pm under 2010 Elections,All General Discussions

VP Biden makes a promise I sincerely doubt will happen, but which could fuel the drive of anti-Obama voters to come out in droves to stop the liberal idiocy that has gripped DC this year:

Vice President Joe Biden said today that if Democrats were to lose 35 House seats they currently hold in traditionally Republican districts, it would mean doomsday for President Obama’s agenda.

There’s actually a chance the Dems could lose a lot more (currently 48 Dems are from districts won by both Bush and McCain in the last two election cycles). Is Joe dangling a huge carrot to offset the liberal policy nightmares being pushed by Obama, Pelosi and Reid?

There are roughly 23,400 seniors on average in a congressional district who have Medicare Advantage, but who face losing it if Mr. Obama has his way. That’s enough votes to tip most competitive House and Senate races.
