What is wrong with your English, Aj?… ["tried" to strike]…
and the news outlets? an “attempted”act of terrorism?

This was NOT NOT NOT an “attempted” act of terrorism…
.
This WAS, in fact, an “ACT of terrorism…
This guy DID, in fact, strike…
.
And it didn’t “fail” as lots of places state…
.
It was highly successful…
.
From what I can tell so far…this Muslim a**hole got his bomb [whatever it was] through security in Nigeria… Amsterdam… and detonated it…

His only failure was that he [and/or his co-conspirators?] constructed a faulty bomb that didn’t work very well…

First the article read:

Well, we can’t have Captain Wonderful being mocked like Bush was. So the new sentence:

The FBI is investigating the incident. President Obama, celebrating Christmas in Hawaii, was informed about it, a spokesman said, and he asked his aides to ensure that all measures are in place to provide security for air travel.

So now instead of having the President in an awkward position, his staff now no longer tells him of these events that might embarrass him till the danger has past.

This means that the famous “2AM call” will not be returned until sometime around 5AM, if the White House staff figures it won’t embarrass him.
