JUST last week, the Obama administration repatriated six Yemenis who had been held at Gitmo. Among them, Ayman Saeed Abdullah Batarfi, a graduate of al Qaeda’s famous Khalden training camp. Batarfi has been waging jihad since the late 1980s, when he fought the Soviets. Batarfi, an orthopedic surgeon, also stayed at al Qaeda guesthouses, worked for an al Qaeda front group, met with a “Malaysian microbiologist” who was almost certainly the head of al Qaeda’s anthrax program, and spent time with Osama bin Laden at Tora Bora. How do we know all of this? Batarfi told us — he chose to volunteer it in his administrative review board hearing.

You said… “…tried to strike…” so I went into a mini tirade about that and the medias saying stuff like “attempted terrorist attack.”

So… wd… you immediately got it… Howev… Much of the media AND my president is still calling it “attempted” or some variation of that word….
.
Sigh… this very moment heard on Fox the word “attempted terror attack.”… It was a “Failed” attack… The “attempt” WAS, in fact… successful…
.
Your subsequent posts correctly state the event…
.
I opine that my President is soooooooo determined to avoid being blamed for a terrorist attack on his watch that he can’t even use proper English to describe these situations… [Say Ft. Hood] …
.
We call this denial of reality in Psych 101…

Interesting! At first I thought we had no information on the plot, that’s why it took Obama so long to say anything…….he likes to get all the facts before he speaks. Now we know he knew everything. How dare he try to blame it on the systems that Bush put into place, how dare he try when he knew all along. Yup, the system worked, just like Napalitano said, they just didn’t act on the information. I guess Obama allowed his guys to say something now before the Senate started hauling these guys in.
