Another good post.

Independent of failure by the TSA or disastrous Obama administration policy changes within the IC/CT community, what finally emerged today (statements by Sens Durbin and Collins) was that there was a simple administrative failure by the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria to determine if the miscreant had a visa to enter the U.S once they were given credible information that he was a threat.

Notice HRC said there was no failure by the DoS to follow established “Interagency processes” in this case, which carefully skirted whether or not what should be simple internal DoS procedures were ignored.

Mr. Brennan did a fine job of “not answering” Chris Wallace’s questions on the Sunday show…

I was very disappointed in Chris’s letting him get away with repeating administration talking points without much challenge…

Sooo feeble was Mr. Brennan’s excuse and rationale for charging the Xmas bomber in criminal court as opposed to designating him as an “enemy combatant” … Sad sad sad… Missing a tremendous opportunity to possibly identify…people…places…future plans…of at least one enemy hotspot … Current! Actionable intelligence…

That drives me crazy… It WAS WAS WAS a “terror attack” …
A “failed terror attack” … “a bungled terror attack” … He
“attempted” to set off a bomb… He DID, however, attack…

If a bully swung at you and missed…You’d say he “attacked you”
He “attempted to hit you…but missed.” … I need a shrink to explain why I’m so obsessed with this mis-use of simple English…
