Repeal Obamacare, Repeal Congress

In case there are any more delusional democrats still deep in denial (I love alliteration) Rasmussen has begun a tracking poll on the Congressional Democrats’ signature, historic achievement to date – Obamacare:

Three weeks after Congress passed its new national health care plan, support for repeal of the measure has risen four points to 58%. That includes 50% of U.S. voters who strongly favor repeal.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely voters nationwide finds 38% still oppose repeal, including 32% who strongly oppose it.

58-38% America’s likely voters favor repeal of this landmark piece of liberal policy crap. 50% strongly hold this view.

And I would wager the same numbers hold true for the liberal Congress that passed it.

This was the Democrats’ Waterloo, their Western Front, their act of waking the sleeping giant. And they have the gall to act surprised!

The law allows us to recoup damages from incompetent and corrupt businesses – doctors, car dealers, drug makers, etc. Why are politicians exempt from this? This congress is likely one of the most incompetent and corrupt bunch of frauds the republic has ever been cursed with. The ones that will be kicked out will get their pensions and their campaign war chests. The ones that remain, likely the worst of them such as Pelosi, Waxman, and others, will survive politically to cause new destruction another day and bear no adverse consequence for their malfeasance.

Each Congress lasts for two years and the president is in office for four. In that time, they can wreck the country (as the current dopes are doing) and the country has to wait a minimum of two years to make any changes. We need to have a vote of “no confidence” like the European countries do (Hey, Obama wants to make us more like Europe – finally they have an idea I can agree with) to force a change in a destructive and incompetent government.

Glenn Beck’s focus for this week is economics. He plans to have several leading economists on his show, especially those from CATO. He also plans to tell us what these leading economists say what we need to do to restore our own country…with the warning that we wouldn’t like most of their ideas.

One of them said that Obama’s interest payment is close to 300 billion (or million?) per year and Obama admits that it could go up to 800 billion in a few years.

The entitlement programs plus the current interest payments take up almost half of the pie chart for this year. When the interest payments increase, it will take up 30 percent, then 40 percent, then 50 percent…crowding out those programs Obama does not want….

I cannot believe Obama told someone that he’s improving our democracy.

No, Obama, you are not. You’re making it worse.

It is very disheartening to hear that even our “”wonderful” president doesn’t seem to know that we are not a democracy. We are republic and a union of 50 states. States whose rights have precedence over the federal according to the Constitution. The Constitution which Obama continues to ignore.

I am not in favor of a “no confidence” vote like the Europeans. I like the system we have now and see no reason to change it except to issue non tamperable national voting cards that have to be shown in order to vote. Hopefully, the citizenry have learned their lesson about who to vote for during the debacle of this administration and this congress. From what I have heard, the voters feel members of congress have been in Washington too long, so perhaps that will take care of term limits. That method, after all, was what the Founding Fathers intended. They wanted citizen legislators to serve a short term or two and then get on with their lives in the public domain.
