What Democrats Want
While the panic subsides from the news a UAE company might buy a UK company and operate some terminals in some of our ports, we need reflect on what the Democrats want if we as a nation consider putting them in power in 2006. A while ago I collected the Democrats’ issues on Iraq and put together the 2006 Democrat Contract With Al Qaeda. So far they hewing to this plan completely. Some thought it a humorous spoof.
Well Captain Ed has found more evidence of the left’s near adulation for Saddam Hussein, his thuggish regime along with his WMD technology and terrorist ties. The good Captain presents, in their own words, the depth of hate for America the sick people have:
It is our duty and the duty of the United Nations to rescue the people of the world from the U.S. dictators. Murder for occupation and theft of land is illegal. Murder of journalists is criminal. Remove the traitors who have stolen the U.S. budget and used it to commit international crimes against humanity.
If we were being bombed and our journalists were being murdered here in the U.S. by a foreign country’s military, we would hope that the people of that country would stop what they are doing and go to their president’s office and demand that it was stopped. If we were the ones burying thousands and thousands of our family members and watching the destruction of the homes, schools, churches and offices that we had worked for decades to build, we would hope that someone, somewhere would care enough to do something for us. We must stop the criminals in our government NOW. There is no meeting with Congress that is going to change what they are doing. We must put the power of the people into action and stay there until they leave!
If anyone is naive to think the Democrats will make this country mores secure I suggest you wake up. All the Democrats want is the opportunity to impeach Bush and Cheney for winning an election and doing things differently than they would.
If people on the right are truly scared out of their sock of an Ayrab company managing port terminals, maybe they should contemplate the future where Democrats dismantle our war on terror and go running to hide behind France’s skirt. Make no mistake about it, these lunatics are calling for help from overseas to overthrow our legally elected government. This is not democracy, this is a call for a coup d etat. This was posted also at Michelle Malkin’s.
Storm The White House…
Who is Comarade Boggiano I asked myself? I decided not to send an SOS to Debbie Schlussel who has her FBI contacts, (this after all is a federal offence) as Rick Moran had the answer at the ready, pulling this from Boggiano’s website:…
What Dems want, and what they will get is about to come to a serious head.
They are about to step in da sheeeeeet bigtime with their proposed legislation INRE port owners by “government owned or controlled” companies, AJ.
When they do so, how will they propose handling the US leases with Neptune Orient Lines, which is also government controlled (68% of shares) by Singapore. I’d say 68% of shares qualifies for government “controlled” status.
And, for the record, PSA Int’l (the only DP World bidding competitor) is 100% owned by Temasek Holdings which is… (and I quote from website data for investors) … ” the investment arm of the Singapore gov’t”.
When you start investigating who owns what in port ops, exactly where does the racial profiling begin and end?
The Dem-led (and wuss Rep followed) legislation that will, in effect, nullify existing port contracts merely to give credibility to their recent hysteria could pull the plug on their efforts to posit themselves as a party dedicated to national security… not to mention, they won’t be making any friends in the int’l business world either.
Problem is, the Congressional types dash in with emotions and no industry facts prior to writing up bills. Their ensuing legislative “cures” create bigger problems. But then, this could be said of Congress generally, no?
Have links for you to check the NOL and PSA ownership facts on my Sea2Sea blogsite. Would love for you to backcheck, and spread the truth of it all. The impending legislation is absurd, and a monstrous business mistake.
