Mea Culpa On Spell Checking

Published by at 12:37 pm under All General Discussions

Folks, I have to apologize for the reduced quality of posts in terms of grammar and speel checking.  When we promoted our site to Word Press 2.0 lots of things broke.  On of them was the ability for me to run my posts through MS Word for final clean up before publishing.  Before the links and formatting of my posts would transition nicely between the Word Press Edit screen and Word.  Now all formattin and links are lost when I go into Word (which is why you will find some text that is supposed to be a quote not properly indented and some links missing).  I am still trying to find a process where I can author and then clean up the text before publishing.   But it needs to be quick so I can spend a couple of minutes to rattle off a post and get back to work.  So please bear with me while I try and find a happy medium.  Enjoy the typos!

One thing that has worked for me when I blog from home is to write the blog post in Word first, then put it up.

I do that off hours (which usually means 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM). I am starting to do that more and more. Now when I post quotes from other sources I have had to put them into Word and remove all the formatting which comes over and wrecks my lay out.

It has become a real pain to adjust!
