ACLU Consumed By Anti-Americanism

Published by at 10:33 am under All General Discussions

Jay over at Stop The ACLU (one of the best blogs dedicated to a good cause) as a post up discussing how the ACLU has aligned itself with the international ‘Human Rights’ groups to bash the one country on the planet, and in history, that has shed blood to free 100’s of millions of people from oppression, and then spent it’s hard earned wealth to provide these people the opportunity to create free democratic societies. John points out how this alliance has convinced some myopic, uninformed judges to consider national law to promote anti-Americanism:

While the ACLU’s rhetoric and efforts to use international law to rewrite, undermine, and bypass the Constitution has already gone beyond academic debate into the realm of actual use. As stated earlier, there are plenty of judges that have already adopted the philosophy and the ACLU are already participating in court cases where the judge uses international law in their decisions. It isn’t only at the federal level, but has penetrated even into the state level.

While this is laughable (not to mention illegal) it is illustrates the tunnel vision the ACLU, the international human rights groups and these judges have as they strive to be what already America is: the group of people that freed the planet from oppression.

Face it, these folks day dream all day long about saving the planet. They dream of being Santa Claus and Jesus Christ and The White Knight for the world’s poor and suffering. Of course they have run in after all the hard work and sacrifice have been done from two centuries of American efforts. Today these faux heroes of virtue claim the US is the country that denies human rights and dignity to the terrorists we captured on the battle field, to serial murderers who are sitting on death row, to despots like those starving millions upon millions of people in North Korea, to the regimes of murders who ran rape rooms, child torture facilities and mass grave sites.

The ACLU is a pathetic joke. They did not establish a country across a enormous ocean that for once, after decades of religious wars and persecution, allowed for freedom of religion – all religions. Not freedoom FROM religion (as is the norm now in Europe) but freedom of religion. The ACLU is against religious expression!

The ACLU did not begin the revolt that led to global establishment of democratic forms of government that established the Bill of Rights that is yet to be established in full in most areas of the world. Their lawyers never sacrificed life and limb to take up arms agains the British as they attempted to subjigate America over and over.

The ACLU did not send anyone into Europe in 1917 to put an end to the mindless maming and killing that was the norm under the dominate international law of the time. Nor did the ACLU sacrifice massive numbers of its best and brightest to remove a brutal asian empire that used it mainland neighbors has human guinea pigs in horrible medical experiments. Experiments where pain killers or blockers were deliberately withheld in order to experience the full effect of the damage being done to the subjects.

The ACLU did not send armies of young men into battle in Europe to break the wall of the 3rd Reich – a regime that brought the efficiencies of the industrial revolution to the slaughter of humanity. And the ACLU did not, after purging the world of the first, self proclaimed Axis Powers spend decades and treasure rebuilding Asia and Europe to establish what is now the largest set of established democracies ever to bless humanity.

The ACLU did not spend the largest portion of its production capability for over 50 years, more than all other leading industrial countries combined, defending these fledgling or re-established democracies from another brutal social experiment called communism. A social concept that seems to demand the continued mass killings of human beings striving for freedom. From the 20-30 million Stalin killed to the 1-2 Million Pol Pot killed to the milllions Hussein killed in his effort to follow their leads. The ACLU never sacrificed anything to cleanse most of the world of this human disaster called communism and socialism. The ACLU doesn’t sacrifice, they demand payment.

The ACLU and their johnny-come-lately Human Rights groups easily dismisses all these sacrifices and efforts made by America and Americans over two centuries, as they ignore the lessons learned from these acts. To do so would elevate America to a much higher moral plane than these people could deal with. The amount of work for these people would need to accomplish to just get in the neighborhood of what America has done is too much for them. So they ignore what we did and what we learned.

We learned freedom is the only answer to long term peace. We learned socialism and communism are fake lies meant to give power to a few and a subservient, controlled existance to the masses. The difference between democracies/free economies is the masses decide who receives the power and the success. There is not one technological acheivement coming out of all the communist/socialist efforts that rivals Microsoft, McDonald’s, etc. Those countries who compete (Nissan, Audi, Airbus) against American ideas come from the regions America freed. The ACLU and their ilk don’t understand this and don’t want to. They think they can just jump on the backs of all these accomplishments and crown themselves the superior moral and intellectual light without sacrifice or any significant accomplishments. Their dreams of being the world’s saviors conveniently skip over having to do something hard and dangerous, short cut around having to sacrifice and lose the most precious things in life (family members), turn earn the wisdom to know what is right.

The only way to earn the wisdom without repeating the efforts is to humbly acknowledge the efforts that have gone before, and remember we too will be called to make similar sacrifices. As we have done in Iraq and Afghanistan. It is easy to ignore problems and pretend they do not exist – the pre 9-11 mindset. It is also fairly easy to be lazy brutes and try to destroy those who challenge us (which is how Hitler and his ilk dealt with problems). It is hard to role up your sleaves, put yourself in danger and lose good people to fix a problem that requires bringing the bad folks to justice while trying to get the good folks to step up, out of hiding, to take control and build themselves a new life.

The ACLU thinks this is all so easy, like a child pretending they could race a car, be an astronaut, be a world soccer player. It all looks so easy when you haven’t had to try yet. But back to Jay at Stop The ACLU:

Romero, of course, makes the United States sound like some rogue nation with no regard for human rights, not the beacon of liberty that so many have come to escaping from tyranny and the bonds of oppression.

And as we stated earlier, just yesterday The American Civil Liberties Union and the U.S. Human Rights Network urged the U.N. Human Rights Committee to hold the U.S. government accountable for “flagrant and repeated violations of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.”

The only way for this conclusion to be reached is if people ignore all this country has done for this planet since its inception. We never fought for conquest outside our borders (we have plenty of warts in our history which all of us wish had not happened, and which we will not allow to happen again). For one of the few times in history, and the first time on a grand scale, a country or society has not taken opportunity after opportunity to expand its domain over those it has conquered. We do not control, and have no wish to control, all those people who now live freely under democratic governments because of our sacrifice. The USSR always feared all our intentions were to take over their society. It was a fear that WE were like THEM that caused them to disbelieve our stated intentions. Truly, everyone from Asia to Europe and in between keeps believing we want conquest and oppression (and responsibility). As with the ACLU and their allies, this probably reflects more on their intentions than anything we as a people believe in. The ACLU wants their views to dominate and for their kind to dictate right and wrong, success and failure. What would they impose to get their way? Well apparently they would begin be maligning good people and changing the meaning of laws. Something every despot and dictator started their career doing.

I read that the ACLU was started by communists, but I don’t know much about it.

Recently the ACLU was destroying a lot of their own documents for some reason.

David Lane, the lawyer for Ward Churchill and that teacher in Denver named Bennish, is in the ACLU I think.

See the ridiculous claims of this site:
    http://www.vote.org/ramsey/salazar.htm

This is a site that claims that the government is “covering up” for a ring of government-connected pedophiles who killed JonBenet Ramsey.

The activist lawyers David Lane and Lee Hill (both have close ties to Professor Ward Churchill) seem to have defended clients who got in trouble for terying to manipulate the Boulder Grand Jury in the Ramsey investigation.

Like Churchill, the lawyer Lee Hill is an American Indian Movement (AIM) activist who has campaigned for the release of Leonard Peltier, who shot two FBI agents to death.

The AIM was manipulating the Ramsey investigation with fake witnesses and news articles. They were the ones who were claiming that the government was protecting this child’s killers.

I have information about this on my site at
    http://legendofpineridge.blogspot.com/2006/03/activist-lawyers-lee-hill-and-david.html

David Lane and Lee Hill are the underneath of pond scum.
They use fake witnesses to try to frame innocent people.
They make up conspiracy theories to discredit American law enforcement as criminals and terrorists.

Here is a site that defends Ward Churchill, etc.

It may BE the fraud and radical professor Ward Churchill, but who knows.

They are for communism and terrorists.

Yes, they were founded by Communist. Excellent read AJ. Thanks so much.

Light is always welcome. ACLU campaigns illuminate the importance of appointing judges who respect the Constitution.
