AGW Alarmists Raise Alarm Over Twister Devastation
The sick, political vultures of the far left fringe our out today ringing their delusional AGW alarm bells and trying to create political gain from a natural disaster and its resultant wide spread human suffering.

The congressional delegations of these states — Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Virginia, and Kentucky — overwhelmingly voted to reject the science that polluting the climate is dangerous. They are deliberately ignoring the warnings from scientists.
These scientific morons know no bounds of decency, which goes with their boundless ignorance and crudeness. Trust me, this author truly struggled through high school science, and took the easiest path through college in terms of understanding the dynamics of nature, human evolution, the biosphere and physics. This fringe-case has no business even attempting to arbitrate what the science says and does not say. Take that from someone who regularly booked 2-3 labs a semester across all the science disciplines (math, biology, physics, chemistry) year after year. You can tell when someone has no prayer when it comes to grasping science.
Everyone agrees on both sides of the AGW debate: one week’s weather does not a century long pattern make.
Interestingly enough, a real scientist had this to say earlier this week about these fanatics, who are all about a cult of religion and nothing about the art of science:

Nobel Physics laureate Ivar Giaever has called global warming a “new religion.” Its temple is built on grounds of faith rather than scientific foundations. Climate change is not Mother Nature’s retribution for human audacity to multiply and survive, any more than a tornado that destroys a particular church is God’s retribution for belonging to the “wrong” congregation” Get over it! It’s not all about us!
The fear mongers always have their tin cup out, promising to harness mother nature if we accept their pseudo-science. It really is the oldest con of humankind, stretching back to the Pharaohs of Egypt.
Are their science challenged masses out there who will buy into this flim-flam scam? Of course. Brad will have is cult of sycophants praising his superior morality and intellect. But to those of us who work on the cutting edge of science, math, space exploration, etc – they guy is a two bit wannabe.
Here are some facts other can “google” if they wish.
- The amount of human generated CO2 in the US dropped significantly in the last year or so do to the recession. Therefore season’s weather is not the result of INCREASED CO2.
- Global temperatures have dropped off strongly this year (unless you use Hanson’s carefully selected data points, which smear the data from one biased site in the Arctic Circle over that entire portion of the globe all the while ignoring contrary satellite, sea surface temperature and other land based temperature readings). Nothing this year has to do with warming. At best, this is what happens when we cool.
- These storms are the worst in almost 40 years. Which means 40 years ago (which is many tons of CO2 and tenths of degrees of AGW increases ago) was the same as today Twister-wise. So here we are, experiencing the same weather we did before the cult of Al Gore/IPCC was even an evil twinkle in some warped mind.
There is no way to link this week’s tornadoes to global warming or CO2 levels. None, nada, zilch. Only a rank amateur and intellectual poseur would make such a dumb claim.
But hey, dumb claims seem to be the way of the fringes. On the right you have the Birthers and Anti-Evolution groups. On the left you have the Global Warming Alarmists, the 9-11 Truthers (a historic oxymoron as monikers go) and the Trig-mongers (see Andrew Sullivan and Wonkette for examples). All a demonstration of how Darwin was right.
BTW, that real scientist had this to say about CO2 as a pollution:
Climate changes and shorter-term weather events are the way nature balances itself, move heat and moisture around, and provide motivations for species to evolve. CO2 is a small but nonetheless important part of the system. Without it life would not exist at all. No polar bears, no penguins, no coral reefs – and certainly no rain forests that directly breathe in lots of the stuff. Don’t call it “pollution.” At least show it a little respect!
Geez, just show a little self-respect and try not to wander into topics your education and experience indicate you are not equipped to comment about.

These idiots are so predictable. This is what AGW believers have come to: “REPENT! REPENT, YE EVILDOERS OR BE BURNED IN EVERLASTING HELLFIRE!!! REPENT!!!”

Actually, who they remind me of more than anything is Rick Moranis in Ghostbusters, after his character Louis Tully has been transformed by Zul into Vinz Clortho.

and the AGW explanations all sound just like this one to me:

So where is that new tone of civility we hear so much about but somehow never see. Guess the only ones tasked with that are the Republicans.
As this story gets more exposure it should push more and more voters away from the out of control left. Polls are already showing that people are moving away from belief in the AGW junk science.
ThinkProgress is one of the child organizations of the John Podesta run Center for American Progress which has multiple links to the inner most policy makers in the WH.
They should be exposed and shamed and required to post a retraction and an apology to all those who suffered through this.
Just a wild guess but the planet has been cooler for a while due to La Niña which tends to cool the planet a few degrees for 2 or 3 years. Sunspot activity had been absent for some time, longer than usual for the cycle, but now, sunspot activity is picking up, adding some energy to the atmosphere. The contrast between warm, moist air and cooler, drier air is that sets off these storms, especially in the spring.
So, we have the normal seasonal change but on top of that is the resurgence of solar activity. Bigger storms are the likely result and that’s what we’ve been having.

Progressives/Leftists/Communists were never at all serious about “civility”. Wisconsin proved that. It’s like their piousness about marital infidelity, smoking…all a bunch of hypocrisy and lies.
What makes this episode with the AGW crowd even more sickening is that there are millions of people in the affected communities throughout Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, without electricity for their homes, fuel for their cars, or food to eat, not to mention those who lost everything (including their lives). They could care less about them…they simply want to use this opportunity to score political points.
And just wait until hurricane season…EVERY puff of wind will be due to global warming…
Actually, storms aren’t caused by “warmer” temperatures. They are caused by a contrast of temperatures. The greater the difference between the warm air mass and the cold air mass, the stronger the storm.
What we have this year is colder than normal temperatures in the upper plains and warmer than normal temperatures over the Gulf of Mexico. Chicago is having its coldest spring in decades. When a wave of cold air drops down out of the upper plains and meets a warm, moist mass of air from the Gulf of Mexico, we get some amazing storms. The greater the difference in temperatures of those two air masses, the more vigorous the storm activity.
So actually either cooler temperatures OR warmer temperatures or both can cause more storms.

So while we have warm air in the Gulf region, we have extremely cold air to the North coming down out of Canada. Look for another spate of these storms as this mass of cold air begins to move South.

maybe it happened, maybe it didn’t – what a mess we are in! By blowing up buildings in his residential area, Nato (including the US) left themselves wide open to be manipulated this way. You try to assassinate a foreign leader and he knows you’re going to try it, you give him a lot of time to come up with a way to drape innocent bodies all over it and make you look like crap. If I was Qaddafi, I long ago would have moved all of my operational assets into the basement of the biggest Children’s Hospital in Tripoli. And I would make sure hundreds of sick children and their nurses were on the levels above me every moment of the day.
We did this to supposedly build support among other Arabs. do you think there is going to be *anyone* in the Arab world who doesn’t believe we killed those kids? They already think we are liars, and now the truth no longer matters. The Narrative is all that matters, and thanks to our incompetence, the Narrative is now set. Saying, a couple days later, “nuh-uh, nuh-uh” just don’t cut it. With anyone.
Think about it – why hit there? “Command and Control” is idiotic, all the electronics that could be taken out got taken out in the first couple of days. This isn’t an electronic war, this is an old fashioned, men on the ground, house to house down and dirty war. Blowing up a bunker does nothing UNLESS you are trying to assassinate the leader. BUT…. if you’re going to try and kill the king, you better kill the king!!!! Otherwise he will make you pay – and now we are going to.
Here’s why NATO hit there – because We are Losing this war. The *only* way to win would be to put boots on the ground, but we don’t *dare* put boots on the ground. The idea that this could be won by air power alone was idiotic from the start. Now we are trapped in an unsolvable quagmire, and the only quick and easy way out is to try and assassinate the leader.
BUT – either we failed and killed innocents, which is bad, OR Qaddafi anticipated what we intended, came up with a fantastic PR claim, and publicly pantsed Obama and NATO! Which, of course, is even worse than just a mistake, because that means that we are not just losing, Qaddafi is strategically whipping us.
Like I said from the beginning – we either escalate, or surrender.
And I don’t think escalation is gonna happen.
