America Debates, It Doesn’t Attack

Published by at 9:25 am under All General Discussions,Illegal Immigration

Drudge  has news out that extremists are calling for and instigating attacks in immigrants.

As the public debate over immigration reform has taken center-stage in American politics and public life, white supremacists, neo-Nazis and other racists have declared “open season” on immigrants and attempted to co-opt and exploit the controversy by focusing their efforts — and their anger — on the minority group at the center of the controversy: Hispanics.

As a result, to a level unprecedented in recent years, America’s Latino immigrant population has become the primary focus of hateful and racist rhetoric and extreme violence — aided, abetted and encouraged by America’s white supremacist and racist haters.

All people of good conscience need to publically call for an end to this and to demand the debate on this issue return to civility.  And that especially includes big mouths like Michael Savage. The guy exists on hate and demeaning others.  Over heated rhetoric may sell books and increase viewers/readers – but it can also insight dire consequences.

It is time to put the ‘civil’ back into civil discourse.

The question is… will Malkin and others denounce these bigots, or will they turn a blind eye, and instead cry “race-baiting!”, rather than deal the creeps?

    No excuse for attacks.
However, I did not notice ADL (the place Drudge got the line…) to criticize La Raza(The Race), when talking about “La Reconquista”, pushing “Gringos” out to Europe , “La Revolucion” and when displaying signs with Che and about armed struggle.
Should I then conclude that ADL is anti-American?
By the way, Mike Savage is almost always right, saying what most of us think.
The same goes for Michelle Malkin…

I am obviously not a Savage fan. And I lose readers everytime I say that.
