1st Blogoversary!
Well, to day is our first blogoversary, marking one year of a writing and learning and meeting wonderful people. I wish I had time for more reflection, but of course today is one of those days were blogging will be light to non-existant. I want to thank LJStrata for bringing the Strata-Sphere into existance. Without her I would still be commenting Delphi forums and not really doing what I wanted – anaylsis of current events.
I want to thank all the great bloggers who have helped me learn the craft and provided support. Not to mention links, withouth which this site would not have become known to so many. And of course thanks to you readers and commenters, who have on more than one occasion provided tips to stories I would have missed.
Suffice to say I had no idea what I was getting into or what to expect, and now I am sure I will probably never stop because of all the people I have had the pleasure to cross paths with.

So about 1800 posts later, I’d say you have made a name for yourself. Congrats! Come to think of it… I completely forgot about my 1st blog anniversary! Doh! That’s what I get for not posting daily like you do… Best of luck for the next year!

Congratulations and Thanks. I first started reading you regularly on the Able Danger story, but I seem to remember you from the old SwiftVets message boards, especially where “NavyChief” et al were working on a story to prove Kerry was lying about his medals.
Was that you? You were trying to get the story straight so that you could post it on your blog. But that was before the 2000 election, and this blog has only been up 1 year. Was there a predecessor?

congratulations mr aj and yes, this is the first blog I look up every morning at 0600. it sets me up with the appropriate mindframe to consider the ” news” as presented by our local democratpravda the WaPo. misinformation/disinformation/ outofcontext/editorialisng masking as news etc etc. thanks again for a great run. keep it up.

Xrayiis, I did not have a precursor blog to this. I spent my time at Delphi Forums on the Opinion Forum hosted by Polter. When I left to start this blog I had racked up a quite a few posts there (over 20,000). made for good practice for blogging.
