Taking Benedict Arnolds To Court

Published by at 11:42 am under All General Discussions,Leak Investigations

The leftward fringes are shocked, shocked that their paranoid delusions that led them to expose national defense programs have led to the logical conclusion: take these Benedict Arnolds to court for their crimes. All the leaks have been about paranoid conspiracy theories and some incredibly egotistical ideas about saving the world from the right wing of humanity. Not one revelation has had any foundation of wrong doing. They have all been about political disagreements wrapped in chicken little hype. But they have also had a core of truth to them. A core that has crippled our one and only weapon against attack (Intelligence) and given the advantage to the terrorists, who needed help in avoiding detection (since they had been stymied up until now). So now we see a world-wide press to take these Benedict Arnolds to task for exposing people to attack. And the press is going to learn a real hard lesson in life. While they jump to the defense of Al Qaeda against Bush and the Coalition fighting them, no one is going to jump to their defense. Yes, Ramsey Clark may take time from defending Saddam Hussein to help Keller out – but there will be no ground swell to keep the leakers out of court. In fact, most of us are looking forward to the trials.

Welcome to this edition of Sneaks Wide World of Blogging. This series is dedicated to the proposition that Blogging is a prime example of the saying Variety is the Spice of Life. Let’s get to the good stuff! ;-D This…

Hate to disagree here, but that article lionizes the media publishing the leaks, and that is very clear in the article. It does not tout them as Benedict Arnold’s, but as champions of free speech.

This latest situation with the NYTimes is in a league of its’ own. These previous cases have just made the environment right for such a crime.

Personally, I do not believe the media is so deeply at fault, but rather the government needs to start to police itself. This is despicable to allow such leaks. Which they did. That is how well they know their own employees.

The real culprits are the leakers.

They know the responsibilities of classified agreements. The NYTimes does not. They have a freedom to print just about everything.

Once again, the government – ours and our European brothers and sisters government – is full of corruption. They refuse to police themselves. They champion leftism… and likely are only prosecuting at all because they are forced to by conservative politicians.

I don’t see anyone going here, “Wow, we are riddled with leftists. How did we get all of these people?” What do we expect? Our colleges are leftist propaganda mills. “Leftism” is viewed as a legitimate political system… so questioning employees about it is tantamount to challengining the non-partisanship of the government. This is our archilles heel.

Anyway… I work with the government too. We have the best in the country. But, we have a lot of power which means we can fall fast if we do fall. Fast and hard. People need to get serious about this stuff.

Anyone watching Tony Snow on Bill O’Reilly’s show last Wednesday would have come away with the feeling that something is in the works against the leakers. He wouldn’t say anything, but all the body language was there. He made it clear that he wasn’t saying anything in order to protect what might be in the works.

I suspect that a jury of peers, could decide whether giving away our critical secrets to the terrorists constitutes treason or no. The hall of mirrors and spin in Washington DC may have a harder time. Lets see if the Supreme Court is going to cripple our war on terror again. We need to find these things out sometime and now seems like a good time. Book em Dano.

Great Benedict Arnold stuff and Hugh can hold his own with anyone, Why doesn’t someone post the 5 top advertisers in The NYTerrorist and let people vote with their feet. And wasn’t Billy Boy pathetic on Face The Nation this AM? Keep the good stuff coming. I haven’t been this angry since Pearl Harbor!

Boycotts seldom/never work (Think: Ceasar Chavez)

If there was a boycott, the hard left NYT would garner more support from the Commie/pinko wings.

OTOH, Rosie O’Fatass pretty much drove the last nail into K-Mart’s coffin with her attack on Tom Selleck, but that assault was on a core customer base for K-Mart.

The NYT’s numbers have been spiralingdown for a few years now and hopefully it will continue. It would be nice to watch them die a slow, lingering death in the form of a “Going out of Business” sale.
