I have not posted a Fly By post of interesting articles in quite some time. But today’s news is not all that eye catching to post extensive comments on. So let’s go with a Fly By of interesting stories out there

India has put it’s peace talks with Pakistan on hold as it also claims it is close to capturing those responsible for the bombings. I think the stiff arming of Pakistan is a huge mistake, because India and Pakistan need to work together to address the Islamo Fascists. If India finds clear evidence of collusion at the top of Pakistan’s leadership, then it would make sense to pull back. But now is not the time. A split is what the bombings were intended to create.

Conservatism is losing its heart when dealing with the Embryonic Stem Cell debate. We seem prepared to destroy human life to find the elixir of life for ourselves (which is a lot of hype). The House and Senate are on a path to expand the harvesting of Embryonic Stem Cells from embryos not used in In Vitro Fertilization. The problems here a manifold, including the chances the genetics in these embryos are damaged and will only cause more problems. If scientists could prove the concept in higher apes I might be willing to listen. But when lipstick cannot go on the market until proven on animals the harvesting of human beings should definitely follow this common sense path before we take one life.

Want to know why Democrats cannot win elections? Seems they cannot understand why ideas of substance are important. To them it is all just words – which are basically just sounds. The left seems incapable of facing the truth, they are losing the debate because they have failed ideas.

.

Which makes the latest claim by Hillary Clinton 100% accurate. Seems Clinton has finally stated the obvious, that Democrats are wasting time. Sadly, the Reps are wasting time too. While the Senate and Bush are accurately reading the mood of the nation, the House is listening to a loud minority on immigration. Guess which side will lose elections and hand control back to the do nothing Democrats? Well, democracies never follow the wishes of the minority – by definition.

Have a great day

about embryonic cell research, that brilliant Newsman Sam Donaldson said on THIS WEEK today, ” has so much promise, but yet unproven” is he kidding? It will most likely always be unproven. And the word ‘brilliant’ above, I was kidding, he is anything but.

FLY BY seems to be an appropriate place for this:

    >> So many letter writers have based their arguments on how this land is

    >>
    >> Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like
    >> Mr. Lujan why today’s American is not willing to accept this new kind of

    >>
    >> Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to

This seems to get to the heart of the “Illegal Immigrant” situation

  3. Sharpshooter says:

Stem cells are NOT human life. Not even close.

Quit using emotional diatribes and leave that to the left (or is it the right is just as emotional as the goofball left when they ahve no coherent argument?).
