The children pictured are definately under rigor mortise. Note that in all pictures, the position of the arms and legs of the children never change, even though they have been handed from one person to another. And all the pictures show the infant (with the pasifier) with his head to the left of the one who is carrying him. When you hand a child over to someone else, the position would be switched from right to left, so this child had been laid down in order to have it’s head in the same left arm position.
The MSM will never look into this. America is the big Satan and Israel is little Satan.

I can think of ways that the casualties could look like they do. Imagine the first leak causes a gas line break, the people sleeping suffocate from gas and the building eventially experiances an explosion and collapses.

Or … gas line breaks, building eventually explodes and collapses, people in the basement survive the collapse but the enclosed area of the basement experiances a buildup of carbon monoxide suffocating everyone.

In both scenarios you have people with little visible injury who appear to have died in their sleep.

Now I am not saying that Hezbollah hasn’t milked this for all the propaganda value they can get out of it. What I am saying is that it dawned on me that there is a logical reason why these casualties are in the state they are in. I still would want to see any imagery of the area after 1am.

Some claimed the building came down around 7 AM, that is where the discrepency lies. I would believe the 1 AM deaths, but who knows now?

DB posted the Wikipedia link to rigor mortis over at Sweetness & Light. If the building collapsed during the 1am strike, rigor would have set in within the period of the bodies being removed. Rigor mortis is generally completely relaxed within 36 hours so casualties showing rigor mortis are generally from between 4 and 36 hours old which is consistant with the pictures being taken mid-morning after a midnight raid.

I would be most interested in seeing any Israeli imagery after 1am that shows that building location. If we don’t get any, then chances are good that the building was in fact destroyed in the 1am strike and they are allowing their initial apology to stand.

What amazed me is that all of the dead seemed to be women and children while all the “wounded” seemed to be military aged men who actually didn’t seem in that bad of shape. One of the “victims” even raised his head and looked around at the crowd as he is being carried away from the building on a litter.

This is going to be very interesting indeed.
