Democrats Try Surrender For The Umpteenth Time

Published by at 9:38 am under All General Discussions,Iraq

Democrats cannot surrender on surrender. There is now a ‘united front’ on cutting and running from Iraq. Good thing all those calling for retreat are already here at the rear of the battle, else there would be stampede of panicked liberals. Obviously the Democrats are pandering to their minority anti-war base who have been trying to surrender since 9-11. They cannot lose their votes this fall. Recall all those Chicken Little cries about the quagmire in Afghanistan? Remember Silly Sheehan calling for our military to get out of Iraq, Afghanistan and New Orleans? The Democrats give up so easily and it is because of that knee-jerk capitulation of theirs there they have lost all credibility with the majority of Americans who wish we did not have to confront the Islamo Fascists, but will see the dirty deed through to the end. An end where we are successful. We will not run away when our Iraqi allies need our support the most to get through these final tough stages. The left should know quitters never win. Especially elections. It seems all the left has is “runaway” and “impeach Bush” for bumber stickers this year. No wonder they want Israel to surrender to Hezbollah too!

Major Update: Want a real laugher? The Democrats are so desperate to cut and run they are trying to rescind the Iraq War resolution 3 years after we beat Saddam’s military and began rebuilding the country into a democracy with civil rights for all religions and both sexes. This is just too funny:

A piece of legislation sponsored by Democrats in the House of Representatives seeks to withdraw authorization for President George W. Bush to make war in Iraq, RAW STORY has learned.

The Iraq War Powers Repeal Act of 2006, H.R. 5875, was introduced on July 25 by Rep. Lynn Woolsey, a Democrat of California. The bill employs the rationale that since President Bush declared “mission accomplished” in May 2003, the US has been engaged in an occupation, not a war, which Congress never authorized.

Democrats in full retreat really are hillarious. All I can envision is their backsides waddling into the sunset with scared looks as they glance over their shoulders. All fun aside, we made a commitment to the Iraqis to stand by them to the end. And those who died in the keeping of that commitment deserve our resolve to see their sacrifice made whole. We do not run away from our allies and we do not run away when we have come so far and final success is within our grasp. And we do not belittle lives given in a good cause by whimping out. Liberals might. Americans do not. No one is forcing any liberal to stand up to the Islamo Fascists and stand by our Iraqi allies. So their calls for surrender are irrelevant. Let them whimper on the sidelines. They are an ever shrinking minority because of their lack of backbone and conviction. At least they have finally admitted, three years on, we did beat Saddam and now we are assisting the Iraqi government – at their behest.

    The Hindmost!

Democrats remind me of the Hindmost; the leader of the Pierson’s Puppeteer’s from Larry Niven’s seminal SciFi classic “Ringworld”!

The “Hindmost”, the LEADER of the Puppeteers, Leads from the REAR!, hence the name!

    Some quotes concerning Puppeteer behaviour:

Socially, the three most notable traits of Puppeteers are their racial/cultural penchant for cowardice, their tendency to congregate in herds,………….. The cowardice is thought in Puppeteer society to originate with the Puppeteer instinct for turning one’s back on danger…………..

Another noticeable behavioral trait is the coma state, broadly a cognate of the human fetal position — in the same way that ostriches are said to bury their heads in the sand, Puppeteers fold up into a ball, tucking their three legs and two heads underneath the padded cranial bulge. This is, in part, an explosion reflex, learnt from childhood………..

A courageous puppeteer isn’t merely regarded as insane (as Nessus, one of the protagonists of the book Ringworld, mentions “the majority is always sane”), though, but is insane, showing symptoms we would associate with human mental illness, such as bipolar disorder, homicidal tendencies, clinical depression and so on…..

The leader of the Puppeteers is known as the Hindmost. Since Puppeteers are concerned with their own safety and the survival of their species foremost, the most important Puppeteer is considered to be behind every other member of the species, or protected by them. It is a shortening from the more literal the one who leads from behind.

The rest of the biology/behaviour is worth reading!

Thanks AJ! I thought it disappeared into the aether!

Next time you see a Democratic “Leader” talking about “strategic redeployment” or the GWOT, just think about the Puppeteers!

John Kerry stated in the speech, he made to the Senate Committee
on Foreign Relations on 22 Apr 1971; that he had met with the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, ( If you look it up, this is the government of North Vietnam) and the Provisional Revolutionary
Government( is the illegal Communist Government of South Vietnam).
“””””Mr. KERRY. My feeling, Senator, is undoubtedly this Congress, and I don’t mean to sound pessimistic, but I do not believe that this Congress will, in fact, end the war as we would like to, which is immediately and unilaterally and, therefore, if I were to speak I would say we would set a date and the date obviously would be the earliest possible date. But I would like to say, in answering that, that I do not believe it is necessary to stall any longer. I have been to Paris. I have talked with both delegations at the peace talks, that is to say the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the Provisional Revolutionary Government and of all eight of Madam Binh’s points it has been stated time and time again,””””””””””””
John Kerry attended these meetings as a private citizen.

In addition, Sandinista Daniel Ortega, and most other heads of governments opposed to the United States have stated how pleased they would be if John Kerry were president.

Ex President Carter is on good terms with all the leaders that oppose the United States, especially the (certified winner) of the Venzuala
election, and the North Korean government.

Sen Rockefeller has experience with the leaders of Syria.

Dangerous is the word I would use-not hillarious.
