Qana Death Toll Cut In Half
Update: More confirmation that the massive deaths at Qana were NOT at a four story apartment building but were at the outskirts of Qana in a three level house where two families were hiding.
Two extended families, the Shalhoubs and the Hashems, had gathered in a three-story house on the outskirts of the village of Qana for shelter from another night of Israeli bombardment when the 1 a.m. missile strike brought the building down.
This is a very different story than being reported in the liberal media. I cannot get the images of the dead children out of my mind. But if Hezbollah had placed a rocket launcher near the building to entice a strike on the house then I blame them for the war crimes.
Initially, and still in much of the liberal media reporting, the death toll at Qana was 60 people, giving the impression that a huge complex of civilians was bombed. In fact, much of the reporting was about a three story ‘building’ with masses huddled in the basement. The images conjured were of a apartment complex. Even all those staged pictures showed the injured being carried past large buildings.
All media led propaganda. The “building” was a house on the outskirts of the village.
The huddled masses two families, which had survivors. The death toll for this incident now cut in half:
The Red Cross announced yesterday that 28 bodies, including those of 19 children, had been found at the site. Additional bodies are expected to be found over the coming days.
Regarding the IAF strike itself, it remains unclear at this stage why that specific house, which was located at the northern edge of Qana, was targeted. …
According to survivors of the strike, two extended families had taken shelter in the building. The survivors said that the Shalhoub and Hashem families remained in the building because they were unable to afford the cost of traveling north. The families also assumed that the Israeli drones that were patrolling the skies above the village had seen that the building was occupied by numerous children.
Why rescuers are running through the bombed out center of the village if the deaths were in this house on the outskirts? This is another in a long list of questions that should be answered so the world can understand whether reporters and photographers were complicit in a event.
Addendum: Just to make it clear that the international media is incorrectly reporting the Qana incident note this CNN report that claims the destruction was in a four story building, not a house on the outskirts of town as reported above.

Which was it? Was it a 4 story building with 60 plus people or a house with 2 families in it?

Up at Little Green Footballs, Charles Johnson ran a series of photographs, of the propaganda job. And, the most interesting one has now shown up. The guy in the Green-Helmet, it seems was also holding up a dead child (headless), back in 1996.
Just in case you didn’t think this could be a media feeding frenzy; you’re given a few more questions to ask about the photographs. And, the gullibility of the press.
If it wasn’t for the Internet, you’d never know.
But that’s like saying if it wasn’t for cars, to travel any distance, you’d need to ride a horse.
Israel is promising to keep on with it’s attempts to clear the Hezbollah out of Southern Lebanon. And, to get their kidnapped soldiers back.
Eveything else you hear is just the diplomatic-pants-dancers, twirling. They usually take their time. Especially when france is involved. Just like france yakity-yakked about protecting Poland. Took two weeks to decide about air fare. They never sent this in to cover the Polish calvary. And, in the two weeks, from September 1, 1939, until Poland completely collapsed; all the french did with the threaty they had (to protect Poland) was to read it.
Israel’s not putting up with this bull. Though she was really hoping Assad would engage. It seems that so far the IDF, “as weak as it is in Narallah’s eyes,” isn’t getting any dance partners willing to fight. In the Ba-Kakta Valley.
You see death on your screens? Blame Hezbollah. And, the idiots that gave them their green light.
By the way, if the two kidnapped soldiers are dead I don’t think “avoiding war with the Jews” is one of Assad’s options. But Israel’s making good use of the time it has to spread out, while it trains different divisions of men, to fight under fire.
After seeing that some of the pictures of the deceased in Qana were clearly staged by using cadavers in which rigor mortis had already set, meaning that the cadavers were older that the supposed time of bombing, how can anybody talk with any authority about the “death toll” in that incident. Accepting that the death toll has been reduced it automatically implies that the incident actually occured. Did it actually occur?
How anyone could support…….

The developments came as rescuers crawled through the rubble of a residential building – digging out bricks with their bare hands to unearth at least 37 children who died when rockets tore through the town of Qana.
“There are so many children, so many children,” rescue worker Abu Shadi Jradi said as he pulled out two young girls wearing tiny gold earrings and a small boy whose pacifier still hung from his neck.

The lady reporter at the start of the report has stated that the damage was due to a 1000 pound bomb, the “girl who lived thru the attack” said it was a helicopter attack.
Helicopters carry 1000 pound bombs???????????????
