Qana Deaths From Hezbollah IED?

Published by at 11:20 am under All General Discussions,Hezbollah

Many the blogosphere were pilloried, if not ignored, when we starting seeing problems in photos and times and statements regarding the Qana incident. Early news reports said 60 people died when a Israeli missile hit a 4 story building in the center of Qana early in the morning. Later we learned the Israeli attacks were at 1:00 AM and the excuse roads were blocked to reach the building were belied by how fast reporters were able to reach Qana from Tyre. We later learned the ‘building’ was a partially built house on the outskirts of town where two families had taken refuge and the death toll was actually 28. Then we learned the Green Helmet Man in all the pictures was actually the mortician from Tyre who had been speaking with reporters days before the attack regarding all the bodies of children he had been transporting in his refrigerated truck. A truck that was able to get to Qana quite early – before reporters it seems. Bloggers like myself wondered at all the inconsistencies and coincidences and predicted Qana was a propaganda event on many levels.

Now it seems there may be even more evidence of skullduggery in the Qana incident. Some rumors now point to the possibility that the house was destroyed by an Hezbollah IED. If so, it does not mean anyone was in the building at the time. We still have Abud Chadi, the Tyrian mortician, who could have been making runs from 1:00 AM – when the Israelis struck – to 8:00 AM when the media showed up for the show. Is any of this credible? Who knows yet. It is about as credible as believing Hezbollah PR agents.

I saw that posting a few days ago and posted a comment there asking if they had any further information besides the reporting of the “rumor”. The comment wasn’t posted and I received no response. Not sure I would put much stock in that particular report. Israel has since said that they did target the building. If they had evidence that it was intact after the raids, they would produced it. That they have not produced such information, apologized for destroying the house, and then issued an explaination that the house was targeted, I would suspect that report at Intelligence Summit is more likely false than true.

But even FNC (Kasich for OReilly last nite) continues to state that the Israelis should be held accountable! Outrageous that they do not even mention the possibility of “photo ops” by hezbelloh.

  3. DubiousD says:

Just a little bit of pure, crazy speculation here: since the building was targeted at 1:00 A.M. and the press didn’t arrive until 8:00 A.M., isn’t possible that there *were* dead Hezbollah in the building along with some dead civies, and then between the hours of 1:00 A.M. and 8:00 A.M. Dark Helmet moved all of the dead Hezbos out of there, leaving only the civies behind?

That would also explain the discrepancy in the casualty number counts, wouldn’t it?

I heard that the Jerusalem Post says there was going to be an investigation into this. It seems more people are starting to wonder.

The more that information about Qana comes out…….

….the worse it looks for Hezbollah. Richard North, at Eu Referendum is methodically working through the story, piece by piece, deconstructing the Hezbolla……

I have been following this story and looking at various videos as well as many photos of the victims.

    Some points to make

Great variation in the dusting levels of the bodies, not explainable with such a small volume room involved.

I have not been able to find a single picture of an adult female victim. They may exist somewhere but I have not seen any.

Survivor interviews of women in hospital setting show no dusting, clean clothing etc. I severly doubt they showered and swapped clothing prior to being treated.

I saw one seperate video interview with a 13 year old female and she was supposedly a survivor and was also extremely clean with no detectable injuries or bruises or cuts.

Sorry, comments are just not posting in our blog. You can blame blogger.com for that.

The report is from various credible sources with access to IAF recon video. As well as reports on the ground that there was major concerns about the body count and rigamortis that set in. We must also remember that Qana was the city where the snowball effect set in that lead to the Israeli withdrawl in the previous war, this was certainly meant to immitate those results by Hezbollah.

Everywhere I go to look at various aspects of this situation , I come up with tidbits that makeup a nondefensable jumbled storyline.

Few reports if any can be taken at face value, that is why it is so hard to do a reasonable evaluation of the realities of the situation.

One story I ran across states their are eight suvivors of the attack, the Uncle of the 13 year old says he was in a building next store when the attack occurred and in the next afternoon he rescued his 13 year old niece.

Casualties have been reported up to 95 year old males, no pictures to support this of course.

The uncle mentioned earlier said he saw the missle hit the door in the basement area. If this were true, why do none of the bodies shown express mass pressure wave damage?

At the beginning of the rescue an intact baby carriage is tossed to the side. No dusting evident, no bent metal, no damage at all. The next thing tossed out of the way in their efforts is , an ammo can like chain feed amunition is kept in.

With all the coverage and interviews I have seen, no body addresses any specifics, they are all generalities. Nobody has claimed when the building actually collapsed. The roof never completely fell in so crushing injuries are eliminated. The walls of the room show no signs of dusting, so why do the bodies?

If there were indeed eight survivors of this, why were none of them perpwalked up the hill of shame to grand dismay?

I want a dna test of the survivor claimers to see if they can even be possible members of the same extended family as the media is reporting.

Obviously from the limited resources we have available to review this situation, we are not likely to find a smoking gun to totally discredit the story, short of identifying one of the displayed victims be also rolled out at another location in the recent past.

But having said that, there are too many reasons to suspect that at the minimum we have gross exploitation of a bad situation, and many reasons to believe in the possibility of a more contrived and minipulated event.

The blogs have covered this to some extent.

However it seems the MSM has taken the path of the Koskids in starving it from oxygen since it may be an enlightining departure from the acceptable premise.

Little green footballs and Eureferendum have made a convincing case that a picture of Beirut bombing was clumsily photoshopped. The pic was by one of the photogs in the Qana press gaggle.

  10. Beto Ochoa says:

    Just a few questions.
Have Islamist insurgents ever killed their own folks for propaganda purposes?
How were print shop quality signs and banners already made and passed out in Beirut the morning the news broke?
After the air raid, did Hezb troops marched people into the building and blew it up?
Get a short wave set up. You hear real news.

    Hi, Alex

Oh, I have no doubt that the event was used by Hezbollah to whip up sentiment due to the previous events at Qana. I am simply saying that all appearances are that the building was targeted and Israel has apologized and they have said that had they known civilians were in the building, it wouldn’t have been targeted.

Yes, I believe they will investigate to see if additional bodies were planted at the site of if people were prevented from leaving the building but I don’t think there is any doubt at this point that Israel targeted the building.

By the way, I do enjoy Intelligence Summit and it is one of my daily reads.

Many more are now commenting on the photg having jumped the shark.

This lack of credible content makes it very very hard for even the most reasonable and grounded among us to draw any reliable conclusions.

We are not there, we do not have personal boots on the ground.

The smokescreen of the media goes beyond this one picture.

The MSM has , if they choose to do it the task of informing and contributing. If they choose to abandon that, they leave us blinded and uninformed.

Ethics, credibility and just doing what is right suffer.

I for one believe that a true and honest picture of what is happening would sponsor more realistic debate than photoshopped slanting of reality.

We can only hope, but is it wrong to desire?

I have alink fest including the J Post article. Here is how I am passing it around:

The Jerusalem Post says Qana may have been totally staged.

It is also a story about bloggers.

BTW we may know where the dead bodies came from. See the A.J. Strata link at the above location

The short wave accounts I heard the evening of the raid are borne out. People forced into the building prior to its demolition.
