I am looking forward to getting back to my hotel room tonight and seeing the results of the CT Democrat primary. My prediction is Lamont will win this by about 52% – 47% (give or take 2%). This will leave Leiberman in good position to win back his seat this fall and cause the ultimate division within the Democrat party. The fight is on and the far left does not want any more platitudes and promises. They want red meat. And the remaining part of the party is getting fed up – but sadly much smaller in number.
The entire border issue is sometimes overstated as this story on Drudge Report illustrates. The story explains how 11 Egyptians, here on student visas, have disappeared since coming to our shores a month ago. The 9-11 highjackers where here legally as well. Few attackers would come here illegally because it draws attention and makes their job harder without any benefit. But the illegal population is a great place to hide out once you are here, which is why we need a guest worker program to document, backgrounbd check and keep track of these people. A guest worker program would include a biometric ID which would assist in finding these wayward visitors.
Seeing Reuters pull back all those photos means there may be some dwindling hope for the news media after all. My concern are those photos which showed thick black smoke (one with a motorcycle in the foreground and one across on a far hill while a man with a gun watches in the foreground). The smoke looked more like that seen in oil field fires. Thick roiling smoke like that usually means there is a very flammable source at the center. Could that include a fuel depot or gas station? Yes. But the smoke seemed much larger in size when compared to the rest of the frame. Interesting to say the least.

Good assessment of Liberman situation, however after seeing the latest poll results and analyzing the registered voter makeup in CT, it looks like Lieberman has a very good chance to win today. It is reported that over 20,000 independents have registered as Dems in the last few days and the theory is that they did it to vote for Joe. But even if he doesn’t with the voter mix in CT, he will surely get it in November.

Of course if Liberman wins the left will point out that it is because all those auto mechanic undecided voters were swayed by all those years Karl Rove had those GOJOE dispensers planted in their garages as an obvious scheme to tilt the election.
I hope Lieberman wins. it just seems so unfair to kcik him out for sticking to his guns.

Imagine the number of people whose disappearence we’ve heard nothing about! Why don’t the Feds broadcast the pictures and names of these jokers so the US population can help in tracking them down? But of course, they’re just here to do jobs Americans won’t do. Nothing to see here—no possible danger upcoming. Lets just approve the amnesty plan and go back to sleep.
Reuters and AP stringers doctor pictures also the caption which goes with the pictures, and then editors get the material and expand on the doctored pictures and now you have a doctored story repeated over and over again by MSM. Maybe this is obvious to everyone, but it makes print media and tv news one big lie.

I know we should take a bit of comfort knowing that law enforcement realized something was up when these 11 Egyptians didn’t arrive at the school as intended, but we need to do more to tighten up border control, which happens to include airport/port ….
After reading this story, one could wonder why a Border Patrol
agent would think it was worth pursuing an illegal alien.
