It is 8/11/06 – one month prior to that pivotal day known simply as 9-11. And the news rippling out from the UK arrests continue to reverberate the world. The UK Sun has news which will be another blow to the lefties here in the US and across the world. While we have Michael Moore, Momma Sheehan, Kos and Ned Lamont the UK has their brand of befuddled thinkers as well. And none is more notorious than MP George Galloway. It now seems MP Galloway met many times with one of the suspects in the UK – could he have been an inspiration to the cause? Could he have been more?:

TERROR suspect Waheed Zaman met controversial MP George Galloway many times, his sister said last night.

Safeena, 24, said of her 23-year-old brother: “He saw it as his duty to stand up for his community and that’s what led him to know George Galloway. He has a lot of respect for him and has met him many times.”

A spokesman for MP Galloway, above, said: “Waheed Zaman is not a name that George is familiar with. He is not known to him on a personal level.”

Galloway must be lying. You do not get to see a major political figure many times unless you are well known and the Pol wants it to happen. The parallels to the Abramoff scandal here in the US and the idea of him visiting the White House a few times as some indication of close coordination with the Bush administration. The denial is laughable.

Galloway is well known for being pro-militant Islam and anti-West. He is has also been implicated in the UN’s Oil For Food scandal with clear indications he benefited financially. Did he pass these financial windfalls onto others to help them support the cause? Did he provide any other assistance by way of access to security information – such as how to use common liquids to create an explosive? The left is not only calling for surrender to Al Qaeda – which gives the terrorists hope and a reason to keep killing – they appear to be on the verge of helping them in other ways. We know all about the media’s role in letting propaganda be published as factual news. We know of the media’s role in exposing our monitoring methods to Al Qaeda so these kinds of attacks have a better chance of succeeding. We know of the briberies to keep Saddam in power and covering for terrorists in his country. What else do we need to see before we get serious about the war on terror? Did those 10 planes have to fall from the sky before the left wakes up or the rest of the West finally ignore their crazy views?
