Democrat Civil War In High Gear

Published by at 4:40 pm under 2006 Elections,All General Discussions

Unlike the supposed Iraqi civil war, which continues to not ever grow into a real civil war with two governments actually warring amongts the same people, the Democrat civil war is in high gear. And it is the far left “surrender at any cost” against the moderate democrats who are a dwindling breed. Case in point: David Sirota vs Ed Kilgore. Sirota rants and raves while Kilgore calmy laughs at Sirota’s fits. Sadly Sirota’s kind will represent the Democrats and take them to a new level of minority status that will require decades of effort to recover from. The bloodletting has just begun and will cripple the Democrats this fall. Sirato is a classic liberal who is so bad with numbers he makes a joke of himself everytime. He says the evil DLC will have $7.2 Million in revenue this year and that proves they are greedy big business. Sirato obviously cannot do simple math. That $7.2 Million can pay only 72 people $100,000 a year, and this is without any costs for facilities, communications, transportation, health benefits, etc. In reality a $1 million can cover around 6 people and all they need to do their jobs. That equates to 35 people total. That is not a powerhouse by any means. But you would have to have some basic math skills to not make fool of yourself and claim otherwise. Poor David!

If someone wants to get in a really good mood each morning, they should tune in to Washington Journal on C-SPAN from 7-10AM EDT. The format is for alternating callers, Dems, Reps, Inds, but most mornings it is about 80% screeching, hyperventilating flaming liberals.

They call in on all three lines (appropriately, since they most likely really don’t know which category they are in). One lady (I use the term loosely) called in this morning, obviously high on caffeine or kool aid, breathlessly carrying on about the “Power Elites that control the world that want to make a ‘New World Order’ “. She must have just completed reading some book on Socialism or Communism. That was the regular mantra of the SDS (students for a democratic society) and the Weather Underground back in the late ’60s.

After about 4 of these callers in a row, then you get a nut (probably on Kool Aid) but it could just be his normal state, complaining about getting so many retred Republicans on the show trying to make Bush look good. He musta just missed the previous 4 or more fruitcakes.

So yes, AJ, your statement: “Sadly Sirota’s kind will represent the Democrats and take them to a new level of minority status that will require decades of effort to recover from.” seems to fit these callers very well.

For a living, breathing example of this warped mentality, tune in.

A good read on the dems problem with Lamont is linked below

    Good read

The dynamics that boosted Mr. Lamont to victory, and that induced “mainstream” politicos to go where only the likes of Eli Pariser and Al Sharpton would go before, are precisely the same ones that keep giving us choices between, say, George W. Bush and John Kerry. Seldom do those of us who are revolted by the options forced upon us by the extremists who dominate primaries get the opportunity to choose a candidate we can respect.

Well, the voters of Connecticut now have such an opportunity. I hope they appreciate it.
