Lamont Shaken By Big League Politics

Published by at 4:02 pm under All General Discussions

OK, the headlines all say “Lamont Surprised by Harshness of Attacks”, but what’s the difference? Lamont is praying Lieberman quits (just like Al Qaeda is praying the US will quit in Iraq). Because, unless Lieberman quits, Lamont has to go out and fight. The guy was born into uncommon wealth and put together a run of the mill company, probably with the help of seasoned business managers (which his money could easily buy). Lamont’s shock at statewide politics was answered easily by the Liebeman campaign:

The Lieberman camp Sunday brushed aside Lamont’s comments.

“All Lieberman did was point out an important difference between his approach to national security and Ned Lamont’s, which is what campaigns are all about,” said Lieberman spokesman Dan Gerstein.

Yep. Lamont is shocked, shaken and stumbling. He sounds like a sound bite recorder who is reciting lines instead of believing in something. And you have to give him credit for being bull-headed. He wants nothing to do with appealing to the non-believers, the unclean masses:

He said he had no plans to tailor his campaign message in the fall race to appeal to independents or moderates in both parties.

“I’m not changing my message one iota now,” Lamont said. “It is a message that resonates. It’s not just Democrats who think that we need real change in Washington, D.C.”

Ned. Change in by itself is meaningless. But if you do not care about moderates and independents I can promise you we dearly care about Joe Lieberman. Most of us believe the partisanship is out of control and unproductive. It is driven by an unstable minority which cannot deal with being in the minority. The BusHitler jokes have been more distracting to the war on terror than anything having to do with Iraq. They mean nothing. We may want change, but that doesn’t mean we want you and your ‘shaken’ campaign which is fixated on surrendering Iraq to Al Qaeda and Iran. If Ned is “shocked” now, wait until he faces the realities of Islamo Fascism and their love of viscious snuff films. I think we have seen the peak of Ned Lamont. From here in it is all down hill.

Geez–you mean he and his Blogging Lamonsters can dish it out but they can’t take it? Is he for real?

The GOP would LOVE to see him win because they want to eat him for breakfast. He’s a neophyte and going to the senate would equal a young punk’s first night in jail. He will be screwed by everyone who can take advantage of his naivity.

Ah Lamont ran a company that installed cable tv on college sites.

OK let me see a show of hands of all who would even elect the head of your cable provider as your local dog catcher.

Lets see radical left dems want to elect a rich (like Kerry and Kennedy) capitalist (oh the horrors) to be their rep.

Well I guess their quantum unifying theory is that you need to elect dems that can buy off the lobbyists instead of the other way around.

    What a concept!

When the radical left gets the “moral victory” with the loss of Lamont, they will have to comply with the “polish gravitational syndrome”

No matter how much you wish it, it is hard to commit suicide when jumping out of a basement window.

    Film at 11.

  4. Incredible. I guess he doesnt understand that he has to least attempt to appeal moderates to let them know he will listen to their concerns. I guess he realizes that politcs isnt all fun and games and just raising the rempurature in the room by using irresponsible rethoric

He showed what a lightweight he really is yesterday, when his only objection to that ‘intrusive’ Patriot Act was about tracking what library books our CHILDREN were checking out! I can do a lot better than that and I support it.
