Updates From My Day Job
For those interested in the NASA effort to get back to the Moon and go to Mars they are updating the way we send people and material into space. Resurrecting some elements and the general architecture from Apollo, NASA will be developing new launch vehicles and exploration vehicles. Here is an update on the re-use of the Saturn V engines which will be used for the second stage of a two stage launch vehicle. The first stage will be one or more Solid Rocket Booster as are now used on the Shuttle. My previous post, with links to the main NASA Exploration website is here.
