Dems Tar Hispanics As Terrorists
The Democrat Message Machine does have a lot of screws lose as it links Hispanic immigrants to terrorists:
A Democratic political ad is under fire from Hispanics who say it unfairly compares Latino immigrants to terrorists.
The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee sponsored a 35-second ad on its Web site that shows footage of two people scaling a border fence mixed with images of Osama Bin Laden and North Korea President Kim Jong Il.
…
DSCC spokesman Phil Singer dismissed the group’s criticism as a Republican group “trying to gloss over the White House’s abysmal record on security.”
“This group’s time would be better spent pressuring reluctant Republicans to support comprehensive immigration reform,” Singer said in an emailed statement.
Inclan said the group was among supporters of the bipartisan Senate immigration bill, which passed the Senate but has been criticized in the House.
The ad drew rebuke from other Hispanics.
“This is the same kind of fear mongering we condemn in the extreme media and now we are seeing it at the DSCC,” said Lisa Navarrete, spokeswoman for the National Council of La Raza. “It’s appalling.”
Ouch! That’s going to leave a mark (at the polls). (H/T Drudge)
The Dems must really believe that the public’s memory is about two weeks long. Are they now say they would have done a better job? Bush’s record is terrible. But Clinton’s wasn’t any better. Has everyone forgotten the hundreds of thousands of uninvestigated legal and illegal immigrants, some of them criminals, who were sworn in as citizens and told to vote Democrat, in Chicago just in time to register to vote in the 1996 elections? In the months prior to that big swearing in ceremony, all up and down Interstate 75 you could see vans pulled over by local police, with dozens of illegals sitting around waiting for immigration to tell the police to let them go becuase INS did not have to man power nor facilities to come get them.
These people are such dumbasses.
Do politicians ever think of the big picture? They seem to get an idea in their heads that sounds good and never thinks of the repercussions of same.
And the hits just keep on coming……
