Terrorists Here In The US?
The TSA has evacuated a West Virginia airport terminal after a liquid being taken onto a plane has tested positive for explosives:
A West Virginia airport terminal was evacuated Thursday afternoon after a bomb-sniffing dog reacted to a bottle filled with a liquid in a passenger’s luggage, an airport official said.
The Transportation Security Administration said the contents of the water bottle have twice tested positive for explosives.
Agency spokeswoman Amy von Walter said security checkpoint screeners got a positive test on a machine that uses swabs to find traces of explosives. A canine team then got a positive hit for explosives as well.
A screener noticed the bottle in a woman’s carry-on bag as she prepared to board a 9:15 a.m. flight to Charlotte, N.C., said Tri-State Airport Authority President Jim Booton.
Walter said a bomb squad is on site and a female passenger is being interviewed by the FBI.
This news is not going to go over well when combined with all the cheering on the left that a liberal judge has just decided to order the US to because it inconveniences some lawyers, journalists and scholars. Talk about your bad timing.

I hear Wolfe say that the taking down of the NSA program is another defeat for the Bush administration—-why not characterise it as another defeat to the American people.
Well, I’m not sure how much of a defeat it is for Bush, but it’s certainly not a defeat for the American people. Each time that our governmental institutions continue to operate “in check and balance”, the greatness of American democracy is further advanced, to all our benefits.
The opinion will either be ultimately affirmed, or ultimately reversed (or, mooted), and there is held out the prospect that the very important questions involved will actually be decided “on the merits”. The later prospect is the one which I would prefer, though I suspect (w/o benefit of particularized competent legal analysis, however) that the most likely judicial result (assuming the case isn’t mooted by some variant (e.g.) of Spector’s proposed bill) would be a reversal on either the “state secret” or the”standing” defenses.
In any event, at the present time, a stay’s in effect, so those who happen to believe the District Court’s decision would otherwise portend the doom and destruction (etc.) of our country should be able to rest easier, and engage in a measured and fact-based debate of the question, if they (and their opponents, of course) are of a mind to.
And, north korea is about to test a nuke, underground. (Probably too embarrassed to test one to fly, I guess?)
What’s the punishments? The explosives story? I guess we can now show the terrorists have discovered cell phone chatter works. And, the MSM’s propaganda machine is in top notch condition.
WHile condi may, or may not, have enough smarts to figure out what went wrong with her UN nonsense. Since SHE recommended signing a piece of garbage. And, SHE compounds it by saying Israel has the misunderstanding, if it thinks anyone disarms nasrallah’s “fighting” magicians.
What do I know? We live in a world where only body bags count. And, the MSM blames Bush. What’s it going to take to control this nonsense?

It’s the standards. Man. FDR and Churchill had STANDARDS. This crap side-stuff wasn’t happening on their watch. And, we didn’t HAVE the UN back then, either. That mistake happened on TRUMAN’s watch. While MacArthur, our greatest general, who would have loved to have run as the GOP candidate in 1948, was shuffled asside by the Rockefellers. The only American who is safer tonight, because of the Judge’s ruling on NSA, is the American who gets their orders from overseas sources who are determined to destroy America.
Doesn’t anyone have any curious thoughts about why 3 men of a common background and religion, woke up one morning with this great idea; we’ll drive from Texas to Michigan and buy a few cellphones (from the same company that they could buy them from in Texas-at the same price) and while we’re there-take pictures of this
bridge. (Like there are no pictures of the bridge on the Internet)
If there was a way to drive from Texas to Michigan and buy a few phones and drive back to Texas and make big money, doesn’t anyone think that several people of a different background and maybe no religion might have figured out how to do it.
My thought is that some person told these people to go to Michigan at a certain time and do certain things. Things that would only make sense to a certain group. Instructions passed in a very quick phonecall.
That is why I think every American, who does not want the enemies of America to win the War on Terror, lost when that judge took away a weapon from the American people to catch our enemies.
