Liberal Rantings Divert International Flight

Published by at 10:07 am under All General Discussions

From news reports it seems the woman at the center of all the commotion that diverted the UK light to Logan Airport was some ranting liberal who was able to sneak onto the airplane some interesting items (screw driver, lotions). She is a self proclaimed anti-Bush type who sounds like many of the lefty posters over at Kos and DU:

As a columnist for the Daily Times of Pakistan, Mrs. Mayo criticized President Bush — calling him “a president not elected by the people”– and the war in Iraq. “The folksongs of the 1960s will never be written again because of President George Bush. He has hampered the liberties of my country in the name of September 11. Songs now can only talk of patriotism they cannot mention peace,” she wrote.

Well it seems this person has seriously advanced BDS, given her bizarre behavior. As her lawyer said “She’s got some very serious mental health problems, [she is] just barely lucid.”

Update: More here on the liberal who was stuck in the 60’s and ran to Pakistan to vent against George Bush. And naturally she is a Deaniac. It is sad to see what decades of liberal propaganda can do to some people.

Michelle Malkin has more on this bizarre women.

Ms. Mayo’s 31-year-old son, Josh, told reporters in Vermont that his mother was a peace activist who had been visiting a Pakistani pen pal and that she had just had a ‘bad time’ on the flight. It is unclear how long she had been in Pakistan, but she worked as a journalist there, writing columns for the Daily Times of Pakistan, assailing the war and American political policy.

I bet if her history were known, she would be from the flower children, free love, Peace at all cost, deranged group of the ’60’s. Probably even from California, member of SDS, Weather underground, etc. I’m glad all the young people of the 60’s didn’t lose their minds, maybe only about 10% of them.

Whatever her problem is, even if it is only a lack of self-control, I think she should be presented with the bill for the total debacle. I am sure that if she was made to pay all the costs associated with her “adventure” she will not repeat that behaviour because she would not be able to afford any sort of a trip in the future.
I think we need some examples if we wish to cool down some of these people.
It is time that idiots pay for their actions rather than the general public.
