Flight 93, The First Battle
Just finished watching Flight 93 on A&E (great piece of TV drama). Amazingly, after all these years, the clarity and horror of 9-11 still comes rushing back to me as if it was yesterday. I have one thing to say to the liberals in this country. Flight 93 was the first battle in this war, when Americans fought back against Islamic Fascists and won. There is no way Anne Diggs Taylor’s decision will be our surrender, the end of our fight. I promised to remember 9-11 every day for nearly 3,000 days so I could dedicate one day to each life lost on 9-11. I am only a bit over halfway there. The left can quit. I cannot.
Perhaps you should also watch this AJ

AJ:
Didn’t see the A&E piece, but I did read about a group of British passengers that revolted when they noticed a couple of Arabic speaking southeast Asian types on their flight prior to departure (see Capt Ed’s 8-19-06 ‘Market Based Profiling’). Good for them!
This country may be safer post 9-11, but it is still not safe because of the ridiculous PC bulls*t that passes for policy masquerading as the laughable TSA. Maybe after a few American flights get cancelled because the passengers decided to enforce a more common sense view, the real work of defeating the terrorists can begin.
Just for the heck of it I tried something last week.
I proposed a trip from where I live to New Orleans.
Commercial
Two hours wait at an airport in Florida for the flight to Atlanta
The flight to Atlanta
One and a half hour layover in Atlanta for the connection flight
Another hour of screening for the flight to New Orleans
Time to fly to New Orleans.
Two days later, flew my plane to New Orleans,
Less than the wait at the first airport.
To drive by car to New Orleans would take about 10 hours from where I live.
Twice the time at 1/20 th the price.
Hey but then I don’t have to rent a car when I get there.
Your mileage may vary.
