Seriously. We have some pretty strong evidence these guys have been striking at us for over twenty years now through terrorist groups. We have done nothing about this. We are scared of Iran.

The only way we will do anything is if they invade Iraq or something similiar of this nature. They have done very well with funding terrorism, however, why should they change their method of operation?

The next step will be them building up a nuclear arsenal.

A very long step.

I could be wrong in these things. I hope I am. I strongly doubt it. I can’t help keep seeing this as a matter we will look back on in ten or twenty years from now as something we could have done then.

Iran would be a very difficult country to strike militarily, much more so then Iraq or Afghanistan. I do not think most people realize this. There are extraordinary difficulties to face, militarily, and they have a profound economic influence on top of this. There is also a profound religious influence.

We could win, but we would have to decimate the population to do this. I do not think our guys are willing to do this.

If they did change their methods of operation and did an overt attack someplace, we could justify an invasion. We could win if it was a severe enough attack, as only then would we justify a decimation of their population.

I hope I am wrong. I hope we have the guts to even do a targetted strike. But I doubt we would even do this.

The US and certain European countries should not wait any longer to force Iran to comply. That Iran is refusing weapon inspectors to enter its nuclear sites and that Tehran has already said that it will not stop enriching uranium, combined with the hat…

My guess the next event will be Kofi sending the Iranians a strongly worded letter….they’ll show em.
