More polling data showing the country moving from “get Bushitler” to “protect this nation from terrorists”:
59 percent approved of President Bush’s response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks while less than half in New York and Washington felt that way.
35 percent nationally were worried they’d be victims of terrorism, a number that spiked to 43 after the alleged terrorist plot in Britain was announced.
Its simple. Impeaching Bush willl not appease or stop terrorists. In fact it will probably motivate them. And closing down leads from the NSA to the FBI may protect our discussions with Bin Laden, but it won’t stop is suicidal army of jihadists. Conyers and Reid and Peliosi want to repeal the Patriot Act so people will be able to read what they want in Libraries – but it will not help identify and foil attacks. None of this should be a surprise. The only surprise is taking the liberal media and the dems so long to see the consequences of their myopic actions.
