What I’m interested to see is whether those critics who blame Bush for rising gasoline prices, Abu Ghraib, Katrina, global warming, and just about every other plague of locusts that has swept the nation over the past six years will begrudge the President any credit if Bin Laden dies tomorrow of an otherwise treatable illness while cowering in a cold, damp Pakistani cave somewhere hiding from Coalition forces.

Or will Bush’s befabled god-like powers expire at the stroke of midnight?

Ken,

I keep this simple for you so you can get it right. I could care less if Scheuer is a Rep or a Dem. He headed the CIA unit (supposedly, since Valerie Plame is also said to have headed it) and therefore is claim to fame is the man who screwed up. The fact he claims he can site, with support, 10 times Clinton could have had Bin Laden is something I reported on. You get confused so quickly I want to make sure you understand I don’t vouch for the man one way or the other – his record does that for him.

Only an idiot would look to someone’s political associations to determine their quality. I have no problem understanding where you stand on the scale of ignorant-well informed. And your politics are not going to help move your status one bit.

Two things about Michael Scheuer. If I’m not mistaken , he has
identified himself as a conservative Republican. And from past postings we see if Strata grees with something he says, he cites him favorably, if not, he dismisses him as a failure.
