gee, my eyes glazed over reading all that Foley fol de rol.
Nice to get back in the real world where Strata’s esteemed
    “dear leader” has a 33% approval rate–and that ain’t
    Zogby’s numbers!

  2. Ken says:

Might as well post more gloom and doom. A nationally syndicated radio talk-show host whom Terrye might love, both being
surrender-monkeys more worried about nasty nativists than
the Mexification of America, sez the fence’ll never get built.

Reason? It will meet the wrath of environmentalists who will
find sundry species threatened and delay it indefinitely….

  3. For Enforcement says:

    and that ain’t
    Zogby’s numbers!

It’s some other fruit cake’s number.

After all, everyone in North America is an immigrant or a descendent of an immigrant. It’s just the illegal ones we are concerned about.

  4. Ken says:

Not me, FE. A true conservative has been concerned about immigration since Kennedy overturned, in the 1960s, the
overtly enshrined preference for Europeans. Till then,
all immigration legislation proudly expressed a European
    tilt .

  5. For Enforcement says:

I said “we” as in US citizens, not Frenchmen.
I’m a true conservative and I’m only concerned about illegal immigration. I could care less about what country legal immigrants come from. After all they all originated in Africa.

  6. Ken says:

Like Pat Buchanan said, if the choice is between a million
Ugandans or a million Englishmen, the decision is obvious.

  7. The Macker says:

Ken cites Pat Buchanan on racial and ethnic standards. That’s a formidable source. How could we miss the obvious”

Patrick, don’t use this as a “deal breaker.” I can’t believe you agree with the liberals on everything else.

Enforcement, As an engineer, I could get a group of migrants over any fence or wall. Without “virtual backup” it would be simple.

  8. For Enforcement says:

Macker, I’m sure you could. But have you seen the specs for the fence?
Two very tall chain link fences, very tough fabric, separated by a road with TV, vibration and motion sensors. Huge strands of razor wire on either side of fences with a deep ditch between the razor wire an d chain link fences. I haven’t seen it, aerial surveys with ground penetrating radar would show any tunnel activity long before the tunnel would be usable. No it wouldn’t be impossible to get over, but it would be a heck of a lot more difficult than no fence. I’ll gladly take what’s proposed.

  9. The Macker says:

    Enforcement,
You answered my objection with the sensors and radar. Thanks.
