McCain Clobbers Hillary

Published by at 9:40 am under All General Discussions

Obviously Hillary was attempting to do too much rewriting of history when she claimed a nuclear North Korea was Bush’s fault. That bit of liberal fantasizing was just too much for McCain who hit her with both barrels when he reminded her the true source of the NK Nukes:

“I would remind Senator Clinton and other Democrats critical of Bush administration policies that the framework agreement her husband’s administration negotiated was a failure,” McCain said in a speech near Detroit, where he was campaigning for a Republican Senate candidate. “Every single time the Clinton administration warned the Koreans not to do something — not to kick out the IAEA inspectors, not to remove the fuel rods from their reactor — they did it. And they were rewarded every single time by the Clinton administration with further talks.”

reported in another paper – of course! Don’t want to have too much of the interchange in one place, it only makes Hill look totally naive about foreign policy:

“I would remind Sen. Clinton,” McCain said, “that the framework agreement [with North Korea] of the Clinton administration was a failure.”

“The Koreans received millions of dollars in energy assistance. They diverted millions in food assistance to the military. And what did the Koreans do? They secretly enriched uranium,” McCain charged. The Clinton policy, he said, “only encouraged bad behavior.”

I truly hope Hillary gets elected. She will have Bill as the permanent albatross around her neck as she tries to rewrite history so she can claim the future.

And what he is selling is idiocy.

Limerick-“there are Good people and Bad people in the world”

Which do you believe Bush’s tyrannical ally Karizmov is, in
    Kazakhstan?

And I’m sure then, you opposed US tilting to Iraq in the
    Iraq/Iran war?
How about Stalin, good or bad? We sided with him in
turning over half of Europe to the Soviet.

19 hijackers were Saudis, not Iraqis and the Saudis finance
multitudes of madrassas clear to Pakistan, turning out myriad
jihadists. Bush did not so much as wag his finger at this
    “bad” government.

Your world is real simple so explain the hypocrisy away
    simply.

  3. For Enforcement says:

Ken is not interested in facts.

  4. Limerick says:

    Ken,

Survival may involve making choices. If that is hypocrisy then I guess I am as guilty as the next fella.

Governments are often left with bad choice A and bad choice B. But where you and I part ways is that you believe BUSH is ALWAYS wrong and I believe that he is SOMETIMES right. I can’t think of a single Democratic or Republican President who didn’t have to make and choice for A or B because there were no other multiple choice questions on the table.

In your world of THEORY there always is a better choice. But just maybe, if you would let yourself THINK, it doesn’t matter how many choices there are because the OTHER GUY just wants Americans dead. There is no reasoning with him. There is no barganing with him. There is no appeasement that will prevent him from making a try.

  5. For Enforcement says:

I told you Ken is not interested in facts.

  6. Ken says:

Limerick-my point has always been ,your interventionist
approval of broad US interventionism in the far corners of
the world precludes your preaching democracy, and the
interventionism itself works against national interests.

No better lesson than the CIA’s launching of al Qaeda
and the blowback…unless it be the launching of the Shah
and the blowback from that quarter.

Ice the interventionist cake with the double-standard tilt to
Israel and you have blowback non pareil–which will
continue until the Empire is defeated and we come home.
Hopefully we’ll still have a country when we do, rather
than Balkanized regions of Latino dominance.

  7. Limerick says:

    ‘Balkanized regions of Latino dominance’???????????????????

Are you complaining about diversity Ken?

Your proclamation of ‘continue until the Empire is defeated’ has exposed you for the idiot you are. Since you believe that America must be defeated then you deserve no futher respect. Ward Churchill might have room for you in his stucco teepee.

  8. For Enforcement says:

As I mentioned, Ken is not concerned with facts. For one thing, he continually refers to the US as an Empire.
As he well knows, the country where he lives, France was one of the last 2 empires. The US is not and never has been an empire. Since he can’t grasp that simple concept, he surely has no concept of what “Balkanized regions of Latino dominance” means. I sure he picked that up from one of the looney left sites he must frequent.

Thanks “E” for the info. I try NOT to jump him but Texas in me gets in the way. When I saw your post on the other topic I should have known better then to try to interrupt his croissant and crappacino.
    Cheers.

Bush Adm. responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths in Iraq; paper’s author defends methodology.

American has hundreds of bases around the world which qualify as modern empire and will have to be largely dismantled. The expenditures of the military-industrial complex equate with empire.

Limerick seems to grasp the terminology’s essence, thus his
visceral reaction. Unfortunately for him,I did not say “must”
be defeated, but “will” be defeated. Churchhill …views the empire
as a white man’s provenace but in truth Euro-Americans do not
benefit from America policing the world, only a thin-layered
    plutocracy does.

In fact by advocating intervention , Strata fuels anti-American
insurgency and domestic insecurity. By calling us home to defend
against the legitimate enemy, the Mexican invasion, sponsored by
the Mexican government, incidentially, I am the true patriot.

    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz

huh?…wha?……..er Ken did you say something?

  12. Ken says:

How about this, Limerick? Your attitude is directly responsible for 9/11 and will cause worse to happen. Arrogant, presumptive,
    America-as-exceptionalist-nation hubris.

  13. Limerick says:

Could you pass the Grey Poupon Ken?

MORE TORTURE AT GITMO EXPOSED–MAYBE THIS IS WHAT
CAUSES THE ACTIONS DEPICTED IN STRATA’S FIRST
    POST ABOVE….

I never really appreciated the ‘Kenny’ character on South Park until now.

  16. Barbara says:

Hindsight is so much better than foresight. Just think of all the pitfalls you can avoid when you look back and not ahead The bases we have all around the world are there with that country’s government blessing, in fact, with a few exceptions, they want us to stay because it lifts their economy.

Ken is a nilist. He just said so.

  17. For Enforcement says:

Ken, we are not impressed with French Patriots here.

    “I am the true patriot.”
    and did you
    “pass the Grey Poupon”

  18. Barbara says:

    Sorry, typo error

Ken is a nihilist. And he did say so.

  19. Ken says:

I have never used the word “nihilist” in my entire posting here, Barbie.

I’m more interested in what the people of the respective
occupied nations say than their oft corrupt and tottering
governments, secretly steadied by the CIA.

  20. Limerick says:

    Sorry Ken,

I didn’t mean to ignore you or anything. Here in America we have a little infidel ritual called baseball and I was tuned into that. While I was watching the game, and eating pork sausage, I happened to put down my glass of beer and looked up and saw that you had tried to get my attention. Unfortunatey my shoe was on the screen blocking my view. Then, before I could get back to you, I had to yell at the TV to tell that Jewish batter to hit the burka off the ball next time because the horsehide landed in the glove of the left fielder. He had this big toothy grin on his face, just like me right now, as I gaze out the window at all those barrels of oil my son snuck back here from his last tour in Iraq. This we shared with the Danish cartoonists and the Pope, while uncle Dubya fiddled with the voting machines, and mom polished up her daisy cutter. By the way, I have a pair of tickets to an opera in Berlin that I can’t use. I’ll send them to you to make up for my lack of support for your jihad. Maybe you can sell them and buy back the West Bank with maybe enough left over to get you a little place on the Golan Heights. I would suggest the Sinai myself, but Israel already gave that back to the Egyptians. Also the Gaza, I hear, is nice this time of year, but the choice is yours. I am glad you dropped by because I wanted to tell you how well my son’s M1A2 Abrams runs on Saudi gas. If you think I am ignoring you I apologize, but right now it is the 7th inning stretch and they are singing God Bless America and I gotta go. Enjoy your croissant and crappacino and maybe the next time you are in town we can go to the movies to see High Noon together. You’ll love the movie. It’s all about a duty, honor, and responsibility, and just between you an me, the women in the movie don’t even cover their faces! It is hotter then a N.Korean mineshaft.
