Lynne Stewart Receives 28 Month Sentence

So what is the penalty for passing messages to for terrorists to terrorists? Seems it is 2 years and 4 months, in the case of Lynne Stewart.

    Then again, given her age and her reported health problems, I can see why this sentence is shorter than I would have liked.

    Not yet, but I suspect that will follow in due course. In New York, grievances and disbarbments will have to go to the disciplinary/grievance committee of the appropriate Appellate Department of the New York Supreme Court (which department’s committee will hear her case will depend on the department in which she was originally admitted to the New York Bar).
