Why Is Olberman Still Frothing At The Mic?
With all the good, decent, hardworking, behind-the-scenes people losing their jobs at NBC, why is Keith Olberman still playing the idiot on TV?

Probably due to the fact that they have plenty of qualified, interesting sportscasters.
Now this is one guy that doesn’t bother me at all. After watching him about one time, long ago, I wrote him off as totally useless and have never watched him again. MSNBC had to schedule ‘someone’ opposite O’Reilly, so they looked around for someone they knew no one would watch anyhow and, voila, Keith O. I’m sure even the MSNBC execs are watching O’Reilly at the time, so they don’t know, or care, how bad Olberman is. He fulfills their need for ‘a body’ in an undesirable time slot. If you look at the viewer numbers, there are a helluva lot of other people like me that he’s ‘not bothering’ either.
Hey look at it from NBCs perspective, you don’t think they would throw away one of their biggest audiences, do you? Even five people is big for them. Got to take what you can get. Maybe NBC will convert MSNBC to a competitor to the comedy channel.
It is interesting that NBC will lay off 700 people rather than ask themselves why their sales are down. If they would report the news as it happens without bias they would be more successful, but they won’t do this. They are so used to telling us what is going on in the world, calling the shots and rerouting history that they can’t give it up. I can only hope they go out of business completely or maybe someone will take over and give us news without the liberal slant.
Hmm . . . don’t hear anyone talking about what O’Reilly had to say that day. Perhaps the house of cards is starting to fall. About time.
