Just listen to a conservative talk radio show that takes listener calls and see how often some caller will say "I'm a conservative, I listen to your show all the time, etc," then launch into a set of liberal talking points.

It's so frequent that I've wondered whether or not a professional phone room was doing this. Maybe the Dems are afraid no one will listen to them if they come right out and say who they are. On the other hand, maybe they're just naturaly phony.

What is less clear is why their numbers look so good 6 months before the election, then tend to plummet when voters actually go to the polls.

Kathie, you said:

If it happens we will have to hear how we stole an election.

And wouldn't that be great news on Nov 7. Because that would mean WE WON.

What I've never been sure of was how, when all the voting precincts were run by Dems back when the Repubs suddenly started winning elections, did the Repubs control the voting machines so they could steal elections.
Anyhow, whatever it takes.

Rush did a portion of his show the other day about how consumer surveys are even hard to accomplish recently.

People don't want to be bothered by the flood of pollsters both political and consumer trend research.

From the data he was quoting, some companies which spend hundreds of millions of dollars on consumer research are starting to question if they are getting value for their money.
